No, he has to go with it, if he says it was defective or "I think i was set up" it will all end then and there, he needs to play it up, it wont end well if he goes against the media, if he goes for the ride, there will riches n bitches.

I mean... it's pretty obvious you can open a water bottle...I hope they don't make the entire segment about the fact you couldn't open that bottle. I'm curious as to what the gist of the segment is going to be, They have to make it entertaining, after the obvious water bottle gag... then what ? Have they told you what they have planned ?

He should just say how his phone and Facebook went crazy as soon as it happened and how the media and Internet can change your life in an instant.

Maybe say he should have carb loaded or something funny too...

I think Straw's idea was good, about wearing a suit, rather than fulfilling their request for a t-shirt. Right off the bat, they'd know that not everyone condones their attempt at creating a circus atmosphere in the name of reporting.
