People are people. You're right, the 'daddy' types DO work well with the authoritarian fans, those who like a strong leader, no matter what he says - they're just drawn to the leadership qualities, which trump certainly has.
so while you're right, you should stop saying 'the left' and start saying 'people'. Cause repubs are NOT in tune with trump's many positions and policies, they just love vague catch phrases like "greatness" and "the biggest" and "winning so much you'll be sick of it". He's like those lame fitness memes you see on shirts and billboards, empty catch phrases that the reader gets to fill with their own meaning.
