Check amazon bro for reviews. Omega I think is good brand 8000 series but I could be wrong, never owned one. Someone told me about them

Go to slickdeals.net daily.  Every three months or so, Macy's will dump inventory on their Omega 8600s and they will go for only $180.   I've researched, and this seems to be the best deal for the money.

You can go up to $1000 for an industrial grade one, but the reviews on the Omega 8600 are great.

Good luck.

Well I think that with a descent juicer I can go low on calories and add a high quality protein like isopure zero carb and get the nutrients I need as well..... kinda like a liquid cleansing diet with high fiber as well

Whatever one you decide on, make sure it's easy to clean. I first made the mistake of buying a cheaper Breville which was a pain in the ass to clean the filter after each time. Anything that takes any more than a minute will start to get annoying after a few uses. I have an omega 8004 and clean up is easy although you do have to cut up pretty much anything other than greens into smaller pieces. It does juice greens very well by the way.

A juicer is going to remove all the fiber and is single purpose.  A Vitamix is a high powered blender, will last a lifetime and serves many purposes.

theres no point in blending your fruits and veggies

its more enjoyable to eat a ripe red pair than blend it up and mix it with kale or some bullshit

true but on a low volume of solid food intake how many pieces of fruit can you digest once stomach shrinks.... and doesn't it lose some of the calories being juiced / blended

I use a vitamix and love it. Keep in mind it is not a juicer proper the consistency of the liquid is much like a smoothie, it will not produce the more liquid consistency such as a juiceman or similar product.

It retains the fiber.  Also, some claim that since you consume the whole fruit that you're getting more total nutrients--which I'd believe.

Basically, it's an ultra-badass blender that you can use for juicing & a whole bunch of other things. Whereas a good juicer will cost as much or more, and will only do one thing

It won't cost as much, as I posted above you can get a great juicer for $180, whereas the cheapest vitamix is about 380 at Costco.

I have the vitamix and it rules, but it doesn't really juice, and can't do wheatgrass.   I would take the vitamix over a juicer if I had to pick, but maybe he's looking for a low cost alternative and wants to juice, and the Omega 8600 fits that need.
