In hindsight, Clinton was a pretty decent president.  I think the problem most people had was when he addressed the nation and lied to us.  I wouldn't have cared much about the Lewinsky affair but when he chose to address the nation and lied so convincingly, that did strike a sour note.  Nonetheless, its small potatoes compared to the war in Iraq!

There may not have been a "need" ... and I use that term loosely... for the Iraq war had the right not gone on that ridiculous witch hunt. It's was the point of my previous post. They will do the ame thing with Obama. Headhunter is trying to make the argument that the right is above partisan bickering when the practically invented it.

No I'm not....but whatever the Repubs did under Clinton forced him to the center...there won't be much of a need for Obama to do any of that as the Dems will or should control Congress....in which case we're screwed.

A person can be right about one thing and wrong about another holmes, just b/c you are wrong on one subject doesnt mean you are wrong across the board. I think hes voting record in the senate is what he was referencing he is the most liberal voter of the senate.

I just don't understand his motive in saying this now.  It's odd.  He hammered Clinton, well he had issues with Reagan too.  are you sure this guy isn't a republican plant...  :D  He sure comes across like the guy you don't want to be in agreement with sometimes...  from that perspective and when he says stuff like this right before the election, I would think you'd really like the guy lol...

Bowling For Columbine was brilliant imo. Roger and Me was damn good too. Fahrenheit 9/11 was almost unwatchable. He should continue to take on corporations and leave politics(where he alienates half his audience) alone.

he's been critical of every president since Reagan including Clinton, he only became a bad guy for going after Bush...  Roger and Me was good, I didn't like Bowling for Columbine, he identified the problem being the media's fault and then diverted from his discovery to go attack Heston?  He lost me there.
