I think if you get cancer in the liver, you're better off going without the chemo and just call it wrap...Accept it and move on...

Ironically chemo is what killed him in the end, but certainly not what brought him to where he was health wise. The comment about retaining water should have made someone realize the danger he was in. Chemo should not been giving to him while he was on dialysis. Once you get into trouble as far as retaining water you can not use diuretics to flush it out and dialysis will not work fast enough to correct the problem. I'm guessing his already weak heart send him into CHF. RIP Derek.
