Guys who really plan to join don't usually make a number out of it.

I remember we were discussing the possibility while I was in army. Some wanted to join to see real action - note that we, thank God, in FIN don't see real action.
No one I know actually went there as far as I know. Though FIN has had relatively strong representation in LE.

The french foreign legion fought beside us (Canadian Army) at Battle of Medak Pocket Croatia, very solid unit stayed and fought all 3 days... I can't say the same for other French Units!

But Canada is just a little brother of USA. Most Americans think that president of Canada is Mr. Oubama haha

France at least has its own soul and not always mimicking yankee.
