Hi Guys!
I've been reading posts at the GB forum so long now, that I think it is about time to introduce myself, and create my very own Get Big forum thread now.
For those of you who don't know, my name is Pia Marlen Johnsen ( most pepople just call me Pia) and i am an IFBB Figure Pro. I turned Pro december 2004, and competed at the pro stge first time in California Pro 2005 and Toronto Pro 2005. Did California again in 2006, got my best placing so far in Holland Grand Prix Pro 2006 where I got 5th.
I am born and raised in Norway, and I've spent most part of 2007 getting settled in Texas. I now work for ALR Industries, with many amazing people. And I'm also a sponsored ALR Industries Athlete and one of the "Venom-Girls" (Guess many of you know what Venom Hyperdrive is?) Krissy Chin and Kendra Elias are the other Venom girls, and we are still looking for one more..
Any Figure pro's interested, please send me a mail with pics and info at : pia@alrindustries.com
Since I've used most part of 2007 getting my greencard so I can work and pursue my IFBB Pro career, my first show for 07 was the Palm beach Pro.
Mentioning that show, I want to take the opportunity to thank some great people... Jan Tana & Kevin THANK YOU for extraordinary good service when my colour did not come when I ordered it. They fixed everything, and made sure that I got what I needed in time, and even more than that! Thank you CJ for letting me wear your suits for the evening show, hope you had a good birthday even if you spent it backstage with the girls. I carbed with CJ's birthday chokolate cake... yummy.. LOL.
Just gotta say that Valerie Waugaman was awsome as well. She made sure that every girl got the help needed before entering the stage. She glued butts and colored all day. BTW who won "the sassiest" award??
Claire: you are such a sweetheart!!
Krissy Chin and Troy Johnson, your support means the world to me.
ALR Industries: thank you for believing in me as an athelete and giving me this opportunity!!
For me 2007 have been the greatest year as a pro for me until now. Getting my dreamjob, being able to be a norwegian-american so I can try to do what I can do to succeed in this wonderful and crazy business. Getting to know so many awsome people..
My next show will be The Kentucky, and hopefully in 2008 I will be able to bring my best ever. Looking so much forward to it.
Well, this was a short intro of me
