LOL, sorry but busting greenpeace in a scare tactic isn't really that big of a deal.  That's what they do.  They sensationalize and make a large production of things that might very well be a problem, but they often go overboard so that people look at it.  I'm not saying that's right, but I am saying I think most people are aware that greenpeace goes overboard to attract attention.  That dude was like ah ha! you're busted.  and you could tell the greenpeace guy was like, well duh.  He didn't seem in the least bit phased that he was admitting what so many know.  And come to think of it, these days, overstating to attract attention is pretty common.  Just look at the republicans :D  I think their new motto has go to be, "oh my god, you're all gonna die--drop and roll!!!"
