After Parties are the rage after every Mr. Olympia, and this year it is no different... here is a list of a few of the parties... although they are more..
--> Of course, the party right after the Mr. Olympia finals is the Official VIP Olympia Victory Gala, where many of the competitors and other industry figures will be starting at 11pm. See you there but after that... here is a list of some after parties.

There are too many damn after parties! The O is big, but doesn't have enough people to spread out to 4-5 parties! I'll be at the ALRI and since I got a invite I'll stop by Shawn's party, but that's it... Ron, are you going to hit them all?!

azure could be brenda/barbara(?) if i remember. there was a chick a while back he was going to marry, and she ragged the s##t out of him on the board, dropped his business all over the place. we all been down that road w/back stabbing women.

since i'm staying at the MGM Grand i've decided to skip the jay cutler party and get back to my hotel. what will be fun about the studio 54 party? all the studio 54 celebrity impersonators will be there. i can't wait.

it'd probably be off the hook if vic and shawn's party were in ny. # of non-industry dominican and PR women would make sure of that.

Yes, I am, and happily married ... so I just go to take pictures, and say hello, and be entertained. Some of these other guys are just living in a fantasy world. You can go to any club in Vegas, but it is always more interesting if people from the industry are there.

To the best of anyone's knowledge, only one - maybe two - virgins has ever gotten in (one last year and one the year before), but we expect it to be virgin-free this year, unless one of the figure chicks brings one as a date. ;D
It's true that UnrealMuscle is one of the premier forum sites for fans of fit, muscular women, but many of the forum members look pretty damned good (no homo) and have little trouble pulling hot women ;) which is why, for the past 2 years, this has been the #1-ranked party in Vegas. People are still talking about the 2007 event, but has anyone talked about Cutler's '07 party recently? Of course not, because it just wasn't exciting enough.
No one is going to be able to compete with our open bar or DJ. It's just an exercise in futility for all other parties, even if they have the bigger company 'names' on their banners. At the end of the night, people leave those parties disappointed - you can read those reports every single year - yet there's never been a single unhappy attendee at an UnrealMuscle event.

These parties sound pretty damn awesome and each of them is taking place in some damn awesome LV nightclubs.
I wonder if anyone will be able to get to at least three of them?
Anyone going to make an attempt to hit each one?
Is there a coverage charge for each party?
How about line passes? Most hot spots have hour long lines on busy Saturday nights.
You might want to ask these questions before heading out for the evening and possibly avoid any disappointments or long waits in endless lines.
Tre, that comped drinks party sounds overly generous where a high-ball sets ya back to the $12 - $16+ range in these LV clubs. Will there be some limits on that generosity?
For you guys/gals who plan to pick up the tab for the group, you might want to ask the club about "bottle service". Even at $700 a 'pop', it might be less expensive in the long run.
Here is some friendly advice regarding bar hopping on Sat nights here in LV.....
1. Most clubs open at 10 PM but don't really get 'jump'en' till after midnight.
2. The clubs (in almost every case) have cover charges ranging from $20 to $40 for the men, but are usually free for the ladies. But sometimes even the ladies have to pay. The secret there is to ask one of the Pit Bosses in the casino if anyone can spare a comped ticket for the ladies in your party. Compt passes are usually always free for ladies because they want to pack the club with beautiful women so that the guys will arrive in droves and buy them very expensive cocktails.
Does anyone have any idea if the Oly After Parties will have cover charges?
3. Unless you arrive early (before 11:00 PM), expect to wait in a line to get inside. Try to get a line pass from someone who looks like they run the place. Best time to do that is the evening before the actual party and only when the place doesn't look too busy. When times are slow, they'll offer you most anything to get inside - even a compt pass for the next nite or a line pass.
4. Line passes don't always work if everyone else has a line pass too.
5. Dress sharp and you'll get more consideration. Some VIP ladies might even invite you to come inside with them when they see you looking sharp but way at the end of that very long line.
6. Tip the employees/street vendors who help you out. While walking down the Strip during the afternoon hours, one of the numerous street vendors may offer you some Night Club comps. Take what you feel you need and give him a five or a ten depending on how many "passes" you take. SOme of these passes will only be good for entry before certain hours of the evening.
7. If one of the door guys offers you an early entry, slip him a five or a ten. That's how it works in this town. Tips make good things happen, so always have some extra bills in your pocket to do some immediate tipping. And don't forget the guy who washes your hands in the men's room. ANd ditto for that lady in the ladies' room.
8. Don't over-tip the valet dudes. They won't even look at what you place in their hands when your car arrives..... $2 or $3 is plenty unless you get some additional service.
9. I don't recommend leaving your credit card with the bartender if you plan to be drinking the evening away. Eventually he'll get overloaded and forget whose card is whose and you'll end up buying drinks for that 65 year old dude in the cowboy hat down at the other end of the bar. Pay for each drink with hard cold cash. ANd don't hesitate to complain if you think your drink is too damn weak.
10. OK ... this one is very important ... Recently the Liquor Commission and the Gaming Control Board have been coming down hard on these high class LV night-clubs. The Club Prive in Planet Hollywood was fined $500,000 (Planet Hollywood actually had to pay it for failing to supervise that club which is located in their hotel/casino) and was closed down for a month or so. It is now back in business on a probationary status, but is being watched closely by the legal beagles. The problwm was that too many people were having too much of a good time participating in lewd activities and pursuing drug endeavors within the club..... something like that.
So now everyone is encouraged to preclude all sorts of lewd activities within the confines of all Las Vegas night clubs. That sort of means that the men have got to keep their pants on and the ladies have to do likewise and refuse to show any form of nudity as well. If you somehow manage to act improperly, the club you are celebrating in is more than likely to lose their liquor license adn the casino could lose its gambling license. It honestly has gotten to that point. SO i fyou get a bit out of hand, expect to get a tap on the shoulder by someone much bigger than the biggest Oly participant in the room. You will probably be asked once to comply, and thrown out on your ass if a second such request is necessary. And it appears that they will show no mercy if drugs are involved.
OK, nuff of that! For anyone going to the XS party at the Encore ..... you are going to be very impressed by that nightclub is you manage to see it all through the crowd. It is an elaborately decorated, indoor, outdoor night-spot with a swimming pool and I have a feeling that there will be a good number of bodies in that pool that nite. Will be interesting to see how they handle that situation.
Vegas is the definitive party town ... even with the above restrictions, but if you do manage to somehow get arrested, be as courtious and as cooperative with the arresting officers and you'll most likely be released as soon as you sober up a bit. They like to send you home with good memories so that you'll come back and do it all over again.

Yea, don't go to the gay bars, but if your real intent is to find one, Krave is right off the Strip on Harmon across from the Harley Davidson Cafe and adjacent to Planet Hollywood.
I can't vouch for the activity inside that nightclub but there are a very wide assortment of real characters (straight and gay) who speak very highly of that club.
For a late night meal (or early morn after you get kicked out of the clubs) I recommend a great meal at the Peppermill up the Strip across a bit from Circus Circus.... another real LV character hang-out with great food served around the clock.

Stunt - Great post, thanks for the tips. I know ours isn't the only party that's gotten crazy before, but the house staff is required to circulate in the club and some of our attendees have been reprimanded in the past on the nudity protocol you mentioned. It sucks, but we have to play by the rules. :(

It's an incredible deal for our guests, no question, and although this is my first year as a sponsor, I'm aware of what the main money guys have contributed in the past and it ain't been cheap. BUT, as I mentioned, everyone who's been has had a great time and there have never been any disgruntled guests.
As a result, it is definitely the toughest ticket in town to get. :)

I know all these hotel/casinos well and have to admit that The Palms is among the very best. George Maloof runs a real class act while also treating the locals exceptionally well. I'm in there at least 4 to 5 days a week taking full advantage of the "Free Money" play and usually always end up receiving a crisp, new $5 or $10 bill after a few minutes of standing in a very short line.
The Palms is well known for offering some of the loosest slots in the state, but you'll notice real soon that the weekend table minimums are among the highest in town.
The only 'sort of bad thing' I can say about The Palms is that the buffet isn't the greatest, so try the prime rib at the 24/7 coffee shop.
It was very wise to hold an Oly After Party here because it is one mile from the Orleans with easy access (no traffic problems whatsoever) if you just head one mile north on ARVILLE ROAD from the Orleans, Hell, you can even walk it with 10 - 15 minutes!
Here's some Palms' night spot info that may prove important for you first time visitors. It was taken directly from their web-site. BTW - The Palms is exactly one mile north of The Orleans. Just head north on Arville Road which you'll easily find on the east side of the Orleans' property. I can guarantee that some of you will be taking that walk if you're staying at the host hotel.
