I have met so many really good boxers, wrestlers and MMA guys that could be confused with being long distance runners. I think many bodybuilding fans have a warped viewpoint of what an athlete's body should look like.
I remember when Tony Carpino was the national middle weight power lifting champ. He was 5'8" and 165lbs. He had a really good physique but no one would confuse him with a champion bodybuilder. This was back when the powerlifting rules were strict and guys benched using a tee shirt without that crazy v arch to shorten the range of motion.
