He did the classic rookie gun mistake: rack slide, drop mag (leaves a round in the chamber). Drop mag, rack slide (proper, leaves gun empty). Proper clearing protocols require DOUBLE visual chamber check and a single physical (finger) check. Left all of that out.
Then he put his finger on the trigger while waving the gun around. Fail all around.
His gun handling skills were atrocious. He probably learned them in "the 'hood"
