If people on food stamps shopped in a more responsible manner vs. buy the shit I see them buy when I'm in line at the store, there'd be alot less complaining.

Beans
Rice
Flour
Milk
Eggs
Bread
Veggies
Fruit
Water

You can buy alot of that vs. the more expensive processed garbage they buy. They should put restrictions on what type of foods you can buy.

I would say youre not supposed to be living high on food stamps, they should give you enough to get by and nothing else.

It isnt the govts responsibility to make sure your full, just not starving to death.

My gf was behind two healthy adults with a teenager on Sunday and they were buying a bunch of crap with their EBT card.  My first issue is why they needed welfare and then what they were purchasing.  We have way too many people on public assistance.  My guess is that they had a Lexus parked in the lot.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see it also. It's insane that fastfood lets them use it in their places, WTF?  It gives no incentive to wanto rejoin the workforce when you're allowed to buy almost the same food items you can with cash. It's pathetic.

I've never seen steaks but I have seen loads of processed junk food and then after they pay for beer with cash. They always have a smirk on their face when they do it too. I wanna slap the shit out of them for having no shame.

I've also seen EBT users leave in tricked out 300s and Chargers.

I remember hearing this several weeks ago. The National Resources Defense Council Stated that Americans waste 40% of the food we buy or         165 Billion dollars worth annually.

The American population is around 308 Million people. The American Heart and Stroke Associate states that 154.7 million people are either overweight or obese.

Do you see the problem we have here?

I've been in line with my chicken breasts, fish, veggies, juice, egg whites, and right in front of me is someone using their EBT card for Reese's Pieces and a bottle of soda...

There should be an incentive in eating Healthy....my money paying for bad eating habits, and bad living habits.

I saw a Hebrew couple not too long ago at the grocery store.

The male Hebrew was dressed in the best urban clothing money could by, air Jordans, roca wear jeans, diamond earrings...

Lady Hebrew was wearing baby phat blinged out velour track suit....

They had 3, yes 3 carts jammed back....turning heads, I took a glanced to see how they would pay for all that shit.....the lady Hebrew whips out the EBT CARD....baller Hebrews

funny thing is, the 7/11s near me have bananas, and Naked/Bolthouse Farms drinks and all these health foods...yet the ones in poorer neighborhoods have nothing but sodas, gaterade, sugary drinks, and maybe a banana or two.

years ago, when I lived in Texas, one guy had opened a store that only sold "WIC" items...and the stores only took WIC coupons for payment...so there were no instances of people trying to sneak unapproved items through, no complaints about "these WIC people holding up the line" etc

The whole "rich person pretending to be poor for a week" schtick has been done to death...there was even a very ghey Diff'rent Strokes episode about it.

Why would it matter?  They will be getting less for the money there.  A Calorie is a Calorie and it should not matter what or where they buy their calories from.

He hasn't learned anything....I can easily eat hearty on a 1.25 cents a day.  Just buy bulk oatmeal, rice, and beans...get your protein from eggs, buy chicken on clearance and freeze and best of all.....don't forget the ramen noodles......people just don't know how versatile those things are....here's an example of one particular meal that about 35 cents......Ponya Ramen Noodles....

Its a bulk purchase thing.....I get a 20 pack of Ramen for 2 bucks, 4 dozen eggs for about 5.20, and 1 pound of canned ham for 2.99....green onions are something I grow in my garden so they are free.

I can actually half it to about 15-20 cents by utilizing my coupon notebook.  My bill for groceries is about 20 bucks a week...sometimes less

You are 100% correct Vince as will 99% of the Americans on this board because they don't heed warnings. I hope this site is still up because I will be a total asshole and go through all posts with "I told you so's" then I'll attach pics of my ginormous stache of everything just to rub it in. It's baffling to me how content, asleep, stupid, ignorant, and stubborn Americans can be. They'll have to find out the hard way. In a FEMA camp or fighting in the streets for food.

Today I even bought 10 packages of various USDA certified organic veggies and fruits. These seeds will be worth alot. But they must be organic.

Yeah this and the lose the loser spouse behind you in line who buys all the beer and cigarettes with the only $ you guys have

mankind hasn't it made it this far by doing such acts. Killing a thousand innocent people who may be able to help ensure your family's long term survival ain't the smartest thing. Working together ensures survival of a "group" or community...some of those people have strengths that you don't.
Would you kill a weapons and ammo supplier to ensure your family's safety, which may not be guaranteed tomorrow? Or the 11 yr old kid who is a good tracker? Too many scenarios...

Wiggs is utterly full of shit.

He probably doesn't even have a bug out bag. I have a bug out bag just because you never know...can't hurt.

Yes, bro. But don't forget: we're supposed to be outraged that so-called immigration-reform hasn't taken place (despite 'reform' being nothing more than a slave-labor giveaway to the pigs).

I've tried to explain this to people but I'm called either a racist or a union loving commie. I was watching the news and I saw Rubio being interviewed and he mentioned that immigrants granted amnesty would not receive ACA benefits.  Such a move would only make then even more attractive to business who don't want to pay insurance costs.

The problem is this generation is not embarrassed by having to use food stamps and half are long-term government leeches. I'd completely grow my own family's own food before I'd suffer the embarrassment of using food stamps.

I will be nowhere near roving packs of anyone. Including Hebrews.

When the SHTF, I plan on tracking down Wiggs and Falcon and we can roam the wastelands together ala The Road.  Did I just use the term "ala"?  I should gaybash myself for that.   Wiggs will be the Viggo Mortenson, Falcon will be Robert Duvall, and I will be the annoying little kid who questions the morality of every decision Wiggs makes.

decent cheap meal:

- ramen noodle, unflavored
- 1 whole egg
- frozen vegetables

instructions:
put the noodles in boiling water, add the egg and let the egg blend in with the noodles (use a raw egg in its shell),
add the frozen veggies.

I've tried to explain this to people but I'm called either a racist or a union loving commie.

I'll tell you, that's all the more reason for a person to place aim on the true problem, which is a government/corporate effort to cultivate something that can only be described as a slave labor supply.

The illegal workers, themselves, are just following the path that's been put in front of them.

I was watching the news and I saw Rubio being interviewed and he mentioned that immigrants granted amnesty would not receive ACA benefits.  Such a move would only make then even more attractive to business who don't want to pay insurance costs.

Big score for the corporation. Always seems par for the course.

I can't begin to imagine how powerful this country would become if the poor would work.  We could kick all the illegals out and save 100's of billions in welfare, food stamps and other entitlements.
