I read they have been doing scientific research on how to prevent racist thoughts through electric shock treatment of the brain.

Apparently, people who are more racist, have a better "fight or flight"- response in their brain and a better sense of when to feel when danger is aproaching. So the treatment would be to completly numb these areas in the brain.
