I am sitting here with my family, survived the biggest earthquake in the history of Japan yesterday, facing a nuclear holocaust 250 kilometers away from me and this idiot tries to attack me?
Talk about being classless, beating a man who is down. I wonder how you guys would take a catastrophe like this.

1) For being the best prepared country in the word for earthquakes why was so little attention paid on the actual cooling of the reactors in regards to the batteries etc.
The batterys simply act as a tie over power source if commercial power were to go down (UPS). I guarentee they had 2 backup generators that were in working condition before the quake. A facility of that importance would have monthly load tesing on those generators. The batterys are only meant to be used for a few seconds while the generators take the load, they probably only had a few hours of battery life and lied about having 8.
If those back up systems fail there is really nothing you can do...

The III Marine Expeditionary Force, based on the island of Okinawa south of Japan, said it was sending support staff, a cargo aircraft and transport helicopters. "Additional aircraft and supplies will continue to be moved in the next several days," the unit said in a statement.
The U.S. Agency for International Development has sent two search and rescue teams, from Virginia and California. Those teams, of about 150 people and 12 rescue dogs trained to find survivors, were expected to arrive Sunday morning and immediately begin working alongside Japanese and international teams.
"We are very, very excited to go over and help the people of Japan," said Don Kunitomi, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which is sending rescue teams to Japan. "They'll be going on lack of sleep for quite a while."
At least 48 other countries and the European Union also have offered relief to Japan, and supplies and personnel are already on the way.
