Like most liberals, he's in denial about how horrible the administration he voted for is doing so he hides the shame by continuing to focus on Trump.

CNN reporter tweets there are ‘serious questions’ about Hunter Biden, FBI: ‘Shouldn’t be a partisan issue'
Fox News ^ | 9/05/22 | Gabriel Hays
Posted on 9/6/2022, 4:18:06 AM

CNN correspondent Sara Sidner recognized the Hunter Biden scandal in a Twitter thread on Sunday, arguing that investigating Biden’s business dealings "shouldn’t be a partisan issue."

The reporter stated that "legitimate questions" about President Joe Biden’s son, and the FBI’s investigation into him, "should be asked" even though the younger Biden is not an elected official.

The mere fact that Sidner mentioned the Hunter Biden scandal saga enraged many liberals on Twitter, who slammed her post and wondered if this was yet another sign that CNN had gone off the rails ever since new management proposed turning the network away from overt partisan bias.

Sidner made her Monday morning observation by sharing a Yahoo News article detailing Hunter Biden’s alleged shady business relationship with Chinese billionaire Ye Jianming and his "international fixer," Patrick Ho, who was being investigated by the FBI in 2017 for a "global bribery scheme" that "appeared to advance Chinese government interests."

The article detailed how evidence of this relationship and huge monetary exchanges between the two parties, which also included the president’s brother, James Biden, could be found in emails on Hunter Biden’s now-infamous laptop.

The piece claimed that this evidence could associate Biden with a Chinese "counterintelligence threat" to the country.

"But the depth and breadth of the Bidens’ financial ties with Ho and Ye raise new questions as to whether they were targets of a Chinese influence operation that, separate and apart from an ongoing criminal probe into Hunter Biden for alleged tax fraud and potentially foreign lobbying violations, represents a counterintelligence threat," Yahoo News reported.

When did you start resorting to posting crude, irrelevant personal attacks on individuals who you disagree with? It is frankly disappointing that you act like a juvenile instead of an adult. It is about time you start acting and posting like a reasonably intelligent person. Someone once said you are an attorney by profession. I find this more and more difficult to believe.

FBI agent Timothy Thibault hid intel from whistleblower on Hunter and the ‘Big Guy’ Joe Biden
NY Post ^ | September 4, 2022 | By Miranda Devine
Posted on 9/5/2022, 8:31:30 AM

Timothy Thibault, the FBI agent alleged to have interfered with an investigation into Hunter Biden, was assigned by the Washington Field Office as “point man” to manage whistleblower Tony Bobulinski, the first son’s former business partner, before the 2020 election — but he suppressed his damning revelations, sources say.

Bobulinski spent over five hours secretly being interviewed by the FBI on Oct. 23, 2020, about his inside knowledge of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business deals with China.

The previous day he had revealed in a press conference that Joe Biden was the “Big Guy” due to get a 10% cut of a lucrative joint venture with Chinese energy firm CEFC, according to an email found on Hunter’s abandoned laptop.

Bobulinski gave the FBI the contents of three cellphones containing encrypted messages between Hunter and his business partners, along with emails and financial documents detailing the Biden family’s corrupt influence peddling operation in foreign countries during Joe’s vice presidency.

But his evidence appears to have fallen into the same black hole at the FBI as Hunter’s laptop, never to be seen again.

Very interesting. Seems like one of those he said - he said situations where people get to pick what side they want to believe before the situation is resolved. This is pretty much the way everything plays out these days - or maybe it always has been like this.

Hunter Biden cries poverty! President's son is demanding his support payments to four-year-old love child with Lunden Roberts be LOWERED due to a 'substantial material change' to his income

Hunter Biden is trying to lower his child support payments for his four-year-old love child with Lunden Roberts, claiming he's having financial difficulties.

According to documents obtained by DailyMail.com, the president's son filed a motion to adjust child support Monday, citing 'a substantial material change' in his 'financial circumstances, including but not limited to his income

In a November 2019 filing in the child support case, he claimed, 'I am unemployed and have had no monthly income since May 2019,' adding he had 'significant debts.'

Meanwhile, Hunter just moved out of a $20,000-per-month Malibu home where he lived with his wife Melissa Cohen and their two-year-old son Beau.

And before that, Hunter was living in a $25,000-per-month rented canal-front home in Venice, Los Angeles, with his 24-hour Secret Service protection

Roberts and Hunter conceived Navy Joan – the fourth of his five children - around December 2017 while he was still in a relationship with his brother Beau's widow, Hallie Biden.

Roberts spent more than a year working in a junior position at his investment firm, Rosemont Seneca.

Even after DNA proved he was the father, Hunter claimed he did not have enough money to pay child support.

Roberts chased Hunter through the courts for 10 months after he claimed that he was too poor to pay child support despite living in a $12,000-per-month Hollywood rental and driving a Porsche at the time.

When an Arkansas judge ordered him to produce financial records he settled out of court

Hunter Biden is trying to get his child support payments for his 4-year-old love child lowered by claiming a substantial change to his “financial circumstances,” according to court documents.

President Biden’s son, 52, has asked an Arkansas judge to recalculate the child support payments he makes to Lunden Roberts, 31 — the mother of the daughter he’s never met, according to a Monday court filing obtained by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

Hunter cited “a substantial material change” in his “financial circumstances, including but not limited to his income” for the reason behind his request.

Federal agents have 'enough evidence to CHARGE Hunter Biden with tax crimes and making a false statement while buying gun', bombshell report claims: Decision lies in hands of U.S. attorney in Delaware
UK Daily Mail ^ | 10/06/2022 | Geoff Earle
Posted on 10/6/2022,

Federal agents who have been conducting a long-running probe of the president's son Hunter Biden believe they have 'sufficient evidence' to charge him with tax fraud and making a false statement on a gun permit, according to a bombshell report in the Washington Post.

Federal prosecutors have made no decision on charging Hunter Biden with a crime, and his lawyer blasted what he called a DOJ 'leak,' demanding an investigation of anyone who put out the information.

Hunter paid an outstanding tax liability back in 2020 and acknowledged a probe into what he called his 'tax affairs.'

The investigation was sparked by his business dealings with foreign countries while father Joe was vice president, and the charges could include failure to pay income tax, money laundering, potential foreign lobbying violations, and failure to meet reporting requirements of U.S. tax laws.

The case is being overseen by a U.S. attorney in Delaware. Biden and AG Merrick Garland have repeatedly said they would leave the case to career prosecutors. The paper cited anonymous people familiar with the case.

The gun purchase matter relates to standard paperwork for purchasing a weapon. On the form Hunter denied using unlawful drugs or being addicted to drugs.

Federal agents have evidence to charge Hunter Biden: report
nypost ^ | 10/06/2022
Posted on 10/6/2022, 4:20:11

Federal agents investigating Hunter Biden believe they have gathered enough evidence to charge the first son with tax crimes as well as a false statement related to a gun purchase, according to a new report.

The final decision on whether to bring a case against the 52-year-old will be made by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed to his current post by former President Donald Trump.

The Washington Post, citing people familiar with the investigation, reported that agents had determined months ago that they had assembled a viable criminal case against Hunter Biden.

The newspaper reported that the investigation, which started by focusing on Hunter’s overseas business dealings, has shifted to whether he reported all his income from foreign transactions — as well as whether he lied about his history of substance abuse on a firearm purchase form in 2018.

Hunter Biden himself announced in December of 2020 that his “tax affairs” were being investigated by federal authorities in Delaware, and said he was “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately.”

Federal investigators are weighing whether to charge Hunter Biden with various tax and foreign lobbying violations, false statements and more, with a former official telling Fox News that an outcome to the case could be "imminent."

Fox News first reported in July that the federal investigation into President Biden’s son had reached a "critical stage." Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation since 2018.

FBI has 'voluminous evidence' of Hunter Biden's 'potential criminal conduct': Whistleblowers
Epoch Times ^ | by Jerry Dunleavy, Justice Department Reporter | October 17, 2022 06:58 AM
Posted on 10/17/2022, 2:25:05 PM

The FBI is in possession of “voluminous evidence” of “potential criminal conduct” by President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden related to his overseas business dealings with China and Ukraine, according to new whistleblower disclosures.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who previously released whistleblower claims alleging that evidence on Hunter Biden’s criminality was wrongly labeled “disinformation” within the bureau, made the revelations in a Thursday letter obtained by the Washington Examiner. It was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss — who is running the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.

The whistleblower allegations relate to Hunter, as well as James Biden, the president's brother, regarding the duo’s dealings with the Chinese government-linked energy conglomerate CEFC China Energy. They also relate to the younger Biden’s work for Ukrainian gas giant Burisma Holdings. Grassley said his staff "reviewed the unclassified records" supporting the whistleblower claims.

“Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful, and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden,” Grassley said in the letter.

On the China front, the Republican senator cited Tony Bobulinski, a Navy veteran and former business associate of Hunter Biden, who went to the FBI in October 2020 to detail the Biden family’s efforts to do business in China.

“The information provided by Mr. Bobulinski formed a sufficient basis to open a full field investigation on pay-to-play grounds; however, it is unclear whether the FBI did so and whether the information is part of the ongoing criminal investigation by U.S. Attorney Weiss,” Grassley said.

CEFC is a since-defunct multibillion-dollar Chinese company founded by Ye Jianming, a business tycoon who has since disappeared in China but with whom Hunter and James Biden had attempted to work out numerous deals and from whom the duo ultimately received millions of dollars.

“The evidence within the FBI’s possession that I am referencing is included, in part, in a summary of Tony Bobulinski’s October 23, 2020, interview with FBI agents,” Grassley's letter states. “In that interview, Mr. Bobulinski stated that the arrangement Hunter Biden and James Biden created with foreign nationals connected to the communist Chinese government included assisting them with potential business deals and investments while Joe Biden was Vice President; however, that work remained intentionally uncompensated while Joe Biden was Vice President. After Joe Biden left the Vice Presidency, the summary makes clear that Hunter Biden and James Biden worked with CEFC and affiliated individuals to compensate them for that past work and the benefits they procured for CEFC.”

Republicans have scrutinized Hunter Biden’s partnership with Jianming and his top lieutenant, Patrick Ho, who was sentenced to three years in prison in March 2019 for violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The case against Ho revealed that some evidence had been obtained through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Hunter Biden struck a $1 million legal retainer agreement with Ho following his arrest. The president's son referred to Ho as the "f***ing spy chief of China" in a recording dated May 11, 2018.

“The FBI has within its possession a different document, dated in October 2020, but referencing events that occurred years before. That document indicates that in May 2017 — approximately three months after the joint venture was hatched in Miami and the same month it was officially formed — Hunter Biden yelled at CEFC officials at a meeting for failing to fund the joint venture," Grassley wrote. "That same document notes that as of July 2017 the money still had not been transferred and James Biden considered calling CEFC officials and threatening to withdraw Biden family support from future deals.”

Grassley has said in floor speeches and financial reports that CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $5 million to bank accounts for Hudson West III in August 2017, with the money then transferred to Hunter Biden’s firm, Owasco, and James Biden’s firm, Lion Hall Group.

In regards to Ukraine, Grassley said he had been provided potential evidence of criminality tied to Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma, which reportedly paid Hunter $50,000 a month to serve on its board for a period when his father was vice president.

Ukrainian oligarch and Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky is widely seen as corrupt and had $23 million frozen by British authorities in the time between the hiring of Hunter and his business associate Devon Archer.

“The FBI has within its possession a series of documents relating to information on Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and his business and financial associations with Hunter Biden,” Grassley wrote in his new letter. “The documents in the FBI’s possession include specific details with respect to conversations by non-government individuals relevant to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden.”

In his 2021 memoir, Beautiful Things, Hunter Biden defended Zlochevsky and called the Burisma work “inspiring” and “consequential” while also admitting that “the pay was good” and that “there’s no question my last name was a coveted credential.”

Grassley concluded his letter by attacking the FBI's handling of the investigation into the president's son.

“It is unclear whether the FBI followed normal investigative procedure to determine the truth and accuracy of the information or shut down investigative activity based on improper disinformation claims in advance of the 2020 election. … It is also unclear whether U.S. Attorney Weiss has performed his own due diligence," he wrote.

Grassley’s latest revelations follow other whistleblower disclosures the senator made public this summer.

Timothy Thibault, the former FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office who left the bureau in late August, “ordered closed” an “avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting” in October 2020, even though “all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants." FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten also "opened an assessment, which was used by an FBI headquarters team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease."

The senator says the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden may now be hobbled because of these actions.

Wray said he found those whistleblower allegations "deeply troubling” when asked about them in early August.

Grassley asked for “the full and unredacted October 2020 document that lists a timeline of events associated with Hunter Biden’s business associates, foreign and domestic.”
