Let me start by stating my opinion. That is a horrible word. As a white man, I would never even think to say it.

Some black people claim to use it as a term of endearment. I can respect that as a white person. I also say that we as a people (all races) should agree to not use the word anymore. It is looked upon as uncomfortable for all smart people in this world.

We are living in a new age people. The N word needs to be eradicated from the language.

I agree with you the black culture as always wanted "equality" but yet separates them self by using a word that know other race can. It is just simple ignorance and as long as the majority of the up and coning black generation keeps the mentality they will never be equal if you purposely separate them selfs.  Maybe I'm out in left field but that's how I feel about it
