Jordan was a shooting guard, Lebron is mid small - power forward, so should be in the paint collecting more reb than jordan. it's not llke Bosh is Robman or even Williams or Longley when it comes to being a C/PF

Lakers, Celtics and Pistons were all aging teams by the time Jordan won his first ring. The guy was the first over-protected player in history. Knicks got fucked beautifully by the refs in 92 and 93.

It's not a blasphemy. Jordan's era started the pussyfying of the NBA. The Bulls had such strong opposition did they: the Sonics with fat Kempf, the put together Suns, an already aging Jazz team. Fuck that. NBA was great in the '80s. Then it became gayer then getting your pubic hair trimmed at Elton John's beauty saloon. As nice as that was it would be average in current dunk contests, you have James White scoring a 45 on a 2 handed gorilla dunk from one step inside the free throw line now and people going ho him at a 360 between the legs by a 6 foot guard at the last contest.Jordan could have pulled that off with ease if he practiced it, seriously what was that difficult, he does a spin move, throws the ball between his legs and throws it of the backboard and dunks it, Nate Robinson at 5'7 did the same dunk easily but twice through his legs at one of his dunk contest wins,me at 5'11 and white has done the same dunk off the backboard (without the between the legs).I Remember watching a game when Jordan played the rockets between 96-98, no doubt it's on YouTube.Pippen has the ball on the three point line and Jordan is in the post with a defender all over him, with one swift move he spins off his man as Pippen lobs the ball towards the hoop and Jordan catches it with ease with one hand and dunks it, a far more difficult move.

Exactly, here is the dunk I was talking about, it never gets shown because its just a typical Jordan move.Here he is at 35, 1yr older than current Kobe and EIGHT years older than current Lebron, check out the quickness and speed, the coordination on all his moves and the smoothness.The alley oop is it 2:16, even current Lebron would have trouble pulling that off, his post moves suck.

Exactly.. Plus rings. Only Kobe can sniff Jordan's nuts at this point. Even then, Can you compare a guy like Pippen to Shaq? Pippen will easily be phased out of the top 50, while Shaq could be in the top 10. Is there really an arguement on who had the better supporting cast?

In ten years, Lebron will probably still be playing at 85% of what he is today. He'll destroy jordan on longevity when all is said and done. He might only have 4 titles when he retires, but his dominance will probably surpass jordan easily.

Lebron was Drafted and stayed with the shittiest team in the Nba given the keys to a Ford Pinto (cavaliers) and played out his entire contract he signed and the Calvs never tired to improve on the team at all.

However, pippen was very very good and rodman is better then pau, bynum, rice etc. dude was a defensive monster and grabbed more boards in terms of rebounding percentage then anyone in history, save reggie evans that one year in TO.
It's debatable but I would take pippen over anyone not named shaq during kobe's runs and Pau is good but not on par with rodman imo.

are you serious? shaq had a flaw, alot of greats have flaws, jordan didn't shoot the three well at all. Shaq however, had dominant traits in other areas, the likes of which we have never seen before.

dude in his prime was a 20-22 ppg scorer, 6 ast, 6.5 boards and 2 steals a game, with some of the best on ball defense in history. Top 50 player, top 20 SF.

The game has changed in the last ten years or so. I bet three points attempts are up by a lot since Jordan's playing days.
His scoring is even more impressive when you consider he only made 0.5 threes per game over his career. He was really bad at them early but got better and was good enough that you at least had to guard him out there still. He was real good those years where they moved the line in to 19 feet or whatever ridiculous short length it was. They moved it back his last year in Chicago and he sucked again (24%).

Yes I think you can make a case for Pippen being the best perimeter defender in NBA history, maybe the best defender overall. He was ridiculously good.

San Antonio is the only team that scares me against the Heat! They play possesion half court ball and slow the game down! They don't turn the ball over which is where the Heat dominate forcing turnovers! But they also seem to fade in the playoffs, probably because their big 3 are older!

Yes SA-MIA would be a good series I think. SA is a fun team to watch, they have a bad rap for being boring but I think it's just because they aren't in a big market.
I don't see anyone in the east touching Miami this year. Even if Rose comes back and is MVP caliber (he won't be) the Bulls aren't beating them in a series. New York could get hot I guess and give them trouble, maybe.

are you serious? shaq had a flaw, alot of greats have flaws, jordan didn't shoot the three well at all. Shaq however, had dominant traits in other areas, the likes of which we have never seen before.
shaq was a big dude who only dunked, good down low, and from 15 feet. Poor stamina, fat. That is all. The Worm man-handled him. He was not very mobile. And he had good blocks, only due to his size.

That is going overboard. He is not going to be some AJ Green, Calvin type of player. He would be a monster if he was played like Gronkowski.

A lot easier to scheme out as a WR. He is a spectacular basketball player, but on an elite NFL WR level, I think not. He might be dominant if playing in the right spot, but he is going to get have to get hit a few times. Randy Moss actually played football for a long time and was much faster. It's stupid like Jordan thinking he could play baseball at the pro level.

There was a video of Lebron playing flag football about 2 years ago! He is fast and has great huge fuking hands! and can throw a football! I would say if he wanted to he could have definitely played tight end! He is a freak no matter how you look at it!

he had the highest efficiency rating in history last year if I am not mistaken. I don't actually like lebron, but he is the first of his kind. He literally can guard all 5 positions. He has to be the fastest player in the NBA, at times he makes people look like they are standing still.

a lot of those NBA players... the ones with exterme muscle who exploded out of nowhere in the 90s (coinciding with the steroid era in baseball) all went bald right after their rookie year. It'd be crazy to think baseball was that juiced and it wasn't happening in the NBA.
