Shoot, I think id have to go with the crocodile in hopes that I can get it on land. I am not very good in water. I would have to avoid the croc dragging me into the water. And I think the lion would be tougher to fight over the croc.

It is highly unlikely anyone can successfully fight off lions or sharks. Your best bet is a croc.

Does the human have access to a knife or rocks in this scenario?

Knife/rocks or not, a crocodile would be the slower and therefore easiest to stand a chance against(unless it was in water). It would be over before you knew it with a lion or great white....unless, as some have suggested, one were to execute MMA strategem in opposition to said carnivores.

No, you were captured by pirates and they have stripped you of everything. You may access weapons while you fight them. For example, if you're fighting a lion in the jungle or wherever the hell they reside, you are free to pick up a rock or stick. Or if youre fighting a shark, you can grab a piece of coral reef and stuff it in his eye. But you go into the fight with only your hands and feet.

I just found this. WOOT!

They are found living in grassy plains, dry thorn forest (Asiatic lions), Savannas, open woodlands, scrubs, prairies, thick brush (Asiatic) and semi-arid plains of sub-Sahara Africa. Lions are mostly found in areas with high prey density.

I'd say croc. If someone were paying $1,000,000 dollars to the average person to spend 10 minutes in either the lion exhibit at their local zoo, the great white shark tank at their local aquarium, or the crocodile exhibit at their local zoo....I'd bet 100% of the people that took the challenge would go for the croc exhibit, including myself.

If I were captured by pirates, where in the world would they be in the vicinty of a Salt Water croc, a Great white Shark, and a African lion---other than a zoo?

I'll tell said "pirates", that I know they get off at 5 and I know the pay is shitty, but don't take the Peter Pan Pirate act seriously.
