Alucard better do some research about who weighed what when talking about fighters
Liston fought in the 210- 220 range
Ali when he fought Liston weighed 210
Liston about 215 -220
Frazier weighed around 205 when he fought Ali
Norton was around 210 vs. Ali
Pretty sure those guys are ALL OVER 200 LBS
Tyson was a man .... who would've LOST NUMEROUS times in the 70's
Yes, weight matters in punching power- but Tyson wasn't a lot bigger than any of the guys you mentioned
Accept the FACT !
And you should read what i wrote again... I said that Liston, Frazier, Ali and all those guys, except Foreman, STARTED at a lower weight than 200lbs, they fought under it... Tyson never did, he was a NATURAL heavyweight, Ali and those guys were not!
In case you don't know, back in Ali's era the HW's limit was 176lbs, wich is LHW today, Ali himself fought at LHW in the Olympics too... Today it's 200+lbs, wich is too low still, since we have athletes at 240, 250 and even more lbs in the ring...
Today's cruiserweights do rehydrate in the 210-220lbs range after the weigh-in, some even more, many are clearly bigger than those 60s and 70s "heavyweights"...
Not FACT, Tyson was faster, stronger, heavier, technically more sound than those guys, not to mention faced superior competition in an era with bigger, more athletic and skilled heavyweights, so everything points to him utterly dominating the 60s and 70s easy...
