This is a "sport" that, at the Olympia/Universe/National level, absolutely requires the competitors to take drugs to succeed. If they don't they won't be in the picture at all. So it's not a surprise when they get sick. Totally preventable, by the way. Its not like Prince's kidneys just decided to stop working one day.

Add to it that Tom Prince was a total jerk to his fans and you get this reaction.
