Wow, its like everything he stood for was a lie. Granted, other cyclists were doping, but he put forth a clean image, someone who won 7 times through ONLY guts and hard work. While everyone lies about doping, he basically shit directly in everyones face with his bold face lies.

Eddy Merckx is hands down the all time best. Few would argue that.
Armstrong is by far the best of his generation (and previous generations). People forget that. He didn't take anything more than anyone else. He wasn't some rogue element forcing the virtuous to cheat; it was accepted and all the teams were complicit in it. That includes the administrators as well, not just the cyclists. Cycling has always been like this, always. However, it might change now and I guess that is a good thing.
