BJ is an incredible athlete who hasn't been able to replicate his success to others.  For that reason, I'd want to train with Couture.  He seems to be able to elevate people's games.

Yeah but from what I have read and heard BJ is a great guy. I would love to just get the knowledge he has.. Plus I think his ring experiance would be great to hear about. He came up and was huge then lost it a little. I just think he would be awesome to learn from. I would for sure love to live in HI and train with him full time...

as much as i love training with lutter. i went to randys new gym in vegas about a month ago (no he wasnt there) but i love the place. my girl is tryin to talk me into moving to vegas and goin to train there.

only thing stopping me is vegas is hell to live in. theres no control over rent or cost of living prices..... i can easily get a job there as en electrician, they are currently building 4 new casinos and 5 high rise condos on the strip. But even gettin paid 50 dollars an hour for me in vegas is like making 10 bucks an hour with cost of living.....

decisions decisions :D

Vegas has a high cost of living?  Man you should see Hawaii.  Climate in Vegas is tortuous.  My wife and I had two condo's there two years ago.  Torture was carrying a refrigerator up a flight of steps to put into the unit in August.  (Next purchase I payed for the shipping)  I love Master Toddy's in Vegas, LV Combat club and J-Sect.

Would love to train with Bas Rutten, I love the guy..great personality plus very round fighter.

In regards to Vegas, I was there on vacation in the beginning of Sept. I couldn't believe the real estate prices either!  it was ridiculous, even out in the desert, a small piece of land big enough for a decent size house was something like $330,000 and this is 20 minutes out of central Vegas I'm talking about... crazy.

I would like to train at Vos gym in Holland, refine my striking.   If I were to pick an individual fighter to train with for a month I would say Randy, he's a master at game plans and a bad ass teacher.

yea even my cab driver said he was goin to move. and alot of the people in vegas are moving out b/c for some reason mortgage prices and intrest can skyrocket on you out of nowhere and you cant do anything about it. so most people cant make house payments anymore and are having to sell and move

Real estate in LV is in a tailspin (boy I am glad I sold when I did).  Prices should continue to decline.  The great thing about LV (economy wise) is there is the gaming industry and all the spinoff corollary businesses it generates.  I wouldn't like the extremeties of weather, and don't like the fact it is in a desert.  But man is that place the MMA mecca.  Lots of great places to train, lots of experts at particular ranges.  (stand up, clinch, ground)

That means they were in an adjustable rate mortgage and now that it is adjusting, they owe more on their homes than what they are worth, meaning they can't re-finance them. It is happening many places across the country, especially where I live(MI), and yeah theres not much you can do about it. Your payment can go from 1600$ to 3000$(just an example) in one months time. At any rate, make sure you get a 30 year mortgage, don't ever get an ARM.

Well hence the name I just moved from Vegas a year ago.. We rented (key word rented) a 4 bedroom and 2 bath, 2 car garage on the west side. Just a little south of Summerlin for $1000 a month. That's what our house payment is up here in Idaho. As an electrician you could make good money and live a normal life for sure.. I would suggest looking into the union down there. They take good care of their people. I have a buddy who owns his own business down there doing electrical and he clears over 300K a year..

If I could train with anyone for a month it would be the underground Black list fighter Anawatazi. I have never really been overly impressed with any one fighter but after watching him fight in Brazil back in 1998 I was in absolute awe. I was standing next to Rickson Gracie talking to him about technique at the time and Anawatazi had his first match. Needless to say we both stopped talking. No one fighter has ever made an impression on me than him. He is the most brutal, cold and skillful fighter I have ever seen.

If I could train with a second person I would have to say Sakuraba. He is one of my favorite fighter's of all time. Watch Pride 1-10 and you will know why. Very technical and he seems to study the fighter's he faces and gets better as the match progresses. Not to mention he likes to have fun and is a practical joker. I bet the Takada dojo was a cool place to train in the late 90's.

I think training with Fedor would be awesome as well.

Just my .02.........

I don't think it's that bad.. I kind of miss it.. Hardly went to the strip. Unless out of town friends were visiting.. The heat you get used to.. The only complaint the price of land and housing.. But the amount of money to be made is far more then most places. IMO

For rent.. Or paycheck? if you mean is $1,000 dollars for rent it was average.. we got a really good deal. Our landlord didn't increase our rent for over 3 years.. We took care of the house and he knew he had respectful tennants..

Dude, if you think real estate prices in LV is expensive, you guys outta move to Hawaii.  Median price on Oahu is 655.  This gets you a 1500 square foot, 4000 square foot of land 4 bedroom (yeah they cram a lot of bedrooms in a small amount of space), 2 bath.  And like I told Da Vinci, NO CENTRAL AC.   This is why I have to work three businesses.

No you don't. You live in the Czech Republic and the average yearly salary is $15,000 in US dollars. You couldn't afford an apartment in Washington Heights here. Boom, stop talking.

Average salary in the Czech Republic is 19,968 CZK. At a normal exchange rate of 18.7 CZK per dollar, that leaves you with $1067.81 dollars for the year. Talk about impoverished.

And that means what?

"The average salary in Prague region is around 25 000."

24000 CZK / 18.7 CZK per dollar is still only $1336. You're poor Bluto. Get over it. You couldn't live in Harlem here. So you should stop insinuating that you have money.

i couldnt care less of what the average salary is, or the average sex partners of a married man in prague, or the average times they go to the gym or whatever - that dont mean shit to me. im an individual. and ive never been average.

however, my posts regarding most expensive city etc MATTER as they are general and that affect the rent price as what was we discussed before you came along and did your every day personal attack-routine on me when we were sitting back and talking about hawaii vs vegas.

you want me to call you fat, just because the statistics of your country have a lot of fat people? would that make you fat? you're a moron to even try that type of worthless argumentation.

Can't really call me fat when you spent a week logging 400 posts a day about my pic.

The fact of the matter is that even if you make 10x the average salary in the Czech Republic, that would still make you INCREDIBLY poor here. You have money and wouldn't be able to afford a 6-month lease here. Glad I could help. Maybe you should stop talking shit about people's money from now on.

I believe you were running your mouth about Big C's engagement ring, which is ironic considering it probably cost more than you make in a year.  ;D

Well I'm no Internet multimillionaire like you and kiwiol, if that's what your saying. As for Big C's ring, it wasn't the cost, it was the fact that he needed to save up to it that made him look like a fool.

Hawaii has a lot of intangibles you can't get anywhere else.  Low violent crime, no discrimination, little government corruption, great year round weather.

In some of the rural areas, dominated by Polynesians, yes.  But those areas hate anyone who isn't Polynesian.  You know where to avoid, where not to go.  There is even racial strife amongst different Polynesian ethnicities.  (Tongan's, Samoan's, Hawaiian's, Tahitian's).

Lots of asians, whites, blacks, hispanics, no problems amongst these groups.  No gangs here as well.
