Back when June Jones was running the Run and Shoot offense at UH, people often called his philosophy a "gimmick offense." Was just thinking about this as it relates to our president. Isn't that what we have?
Probably the least experienced man to ever be president, protected by the media during the 2008 campaign and during his entire presidency, refuses to meet with the press and answer tough questions, doesn't really speak unless he's reading a script or spitting out talking points, failed to produce a budget, spent most of the last six months or so running for reelection, etc.
It's just hard to fathom how someone so unqualified, and who now has a track record of failure, can possibly be reelected. He's a gimmick.
