Pre-Election bets:    How many and what excuses will be made?

________________________ ________________________ _______

My guess:

1.  70 seats in the House

2.  9 in the Senate

3.  "We didn't sell our message properly"

4.  "The Stim Bill was too small"

5. "The voters didnt understand our policies"

6.  "We should have done Single Payer"

7.  "We went too far to the right and should have went hard left"

8.  "Party in power always loses seats in a midterm"

9.  "This is no referendum on Obama's policies"

10.  "Palin's fault"

11.  Obama and the dems have only been there for 2 years while it took Bush 8 years"

A pollster was on Batchelor last night and said if there is even a slight move to the GOP more than now, the number will go up to 80 +

I think it may be a little higher than that in terms of seats one...we'll see.

Those excuses listed, you pretty much summed up every argument they'll have in about 2 seconds. Obama has already been known to say things like "I haven't given enough speeches...people don't understand" etc. Of course some of those other excuses you have listed, if they really believe them then they can say goodbye to power for the next 50yrs
