Saw this recipe somewhere online and I adjusted it slightly - they came out better than any bar I've ever bought. Total time was about 10 min to make and 30 min to bake:
1 cup raw oatmeal
1 cup oatmeal - blended into a powder
1 banana
3 -4 scoops natural peanut butter
5 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 tblspn oil
1 whole egg
3 egg whites
handful of almonds
1 tblspn wheat jerm (recipe called for flax seed)
1/2 cup cottage cheese *this wasn't in the recipe but the mixture was too dry without it, you could also use yogurt
preheat oven to 325. mix all the above in bowl, spoon/pour into a 8x8 glass pan (spray with pam). add cinnamon (I also threw on two packets of splenda on top and had to use nutmeg since I didn't have cinnamon) on top. cook for 30-40 min - cut into 6 bars and place on alum. foil. put in fridge or freezer depending on how solid it is.
each bar is around 30 grms protein, 35 grms , 7-8 grms fat.
