Kind of wish the IFBB would leave steroids alone but ban HGH and Slin to get rid of those grotesque big bellies. Maybe then they can get some credibility back again. But of course Milos would be out of a job.
-
There ain't much left to destroy....
-
Yes, pregnant bellies ruined bodybuilding but what's to be done about it? Fans want bigger/more muscle. Competitors will do whatever it takes to give it to them--even if that means unattractive side effects. :-\

Referring to contests as "shows" ruined bb'ing. Did Arnold, Draper, Zane, Robinson, Columbo, ever win a "SHOW" or a did they win a contest?

That's why, when you see a guy like Dennis Wolf who's extremely massive and still has a small waist, he should be placed high. Guys with big waists, no taper, obvious synthol use, should be placed last. Then we'd stop seeing that crap. As long as the judges reward that look, we'll keep seeing the decline in what bodybuilding should be all about. I'm assuming the GH, insulin, must be somewhat responsible for this grotesque look, because before those drugs were used, you didn't see those bodies.

Wolf has a gut , he's lucky because he's like Ronnie who has the advantage of a narrow waist & hips but make no mistake he has one.
-
Yep, Wolf definitely getting the distended gut. Remember how Ronnie used to look, TINY waist when he started out almost natural.

Yup, and he has a long waist which helps hide the gut. Look at the pros without guts, or smaller guts, and how they are structurally. They ones with smaller guts usually have long waists.

Exactly Coleman's was much more noticeable because he has a short torso .
-
Physiques in the 90's were big enough, infact they looked as big as today's slined up physiques because they were much better conditioned

Wolf's gut is becoming more and more noticeable as the day's go by
Just watch him when he isn't sucking in his stomach and is completely relaxed

That you will never see!

The short answer is:
NO
-
No, it hasn't ruined bodybuilding it has defined the modern era of bodybuilding.
-
Gotta love the hgh paws and the bellies, they are awesome!
-
Don't need to do anything of the sort....just place them at the bottom...solves all the problems.
-
I don't think it will get rid of the problem by doing that.
This event called competitive bodybuilding is filled in volumes of dumb people. We can see early examples of this by Vince Basile all the way up to todays body builders like Craig Titus, Ronnie Coleman & Sheri Kamail.
Some of guys compete for their own egos never placing higher than the top 3 with "all the help" in the world. They will keep clutching the hope that 'what worked for this guy' just may in fact work for them.

hgh paws ahahahahah dont forget big heads

They need to go back to the classic style bodybuilding where people had good builds and trained hardcore with freeweights everyday. Forget about drugs.. just train. Thats why we got people taking drugs thinking they are gonna get big but only have a fat gut and skinny fat arms.. bloated. Too much loading with drugs and too less training.
