All too often these sequels are made because of the money to be had. Unfortunately, all it does is lessen the legacy of the original. In this case the original was a "cult classic" and was not renowned for cinematic excellence but was just a pretty kick ass watch for most men.

I made that mistake a few years ago and was sorry I did.. original Point Break is the same situation. Great as it was. No need for a new remake, reboot, re-fuck, whatever you want to call it.

You were in a moment of weakness and knew there was about a 5% chance it would exceed your expectations. We all make mistakes, iron brother!

No point in a remake when the movie can't benefit from anything like advances in technology/sfx
The original was a raw film, good action, realistic fight scenes, whitty dialogue.
You can already see the woke character changes and piss poor acting from supporting cast.
I think it'll be OK for throw away fun but that's about it, another pointless remake

Downfall of his MMA career was also the biggest windfall of financial fortune for him. Crossing over to a boxing exhibition, starting up his whiskey line, and venturing into movies. Plus staying "relevant" by living up to his Notorious nickname by throwing tantrums and running afoul of the law as a thug and drunkard.
Good for him - bet then having the ego and audacity to think you are going to just step back in against guys that eat, sleep, and breathe to fight their way for a chance to sniff even a fraction of his success. And alas, now the constant tease that he will step back in and fight is more lucrative for him rather than to actually do it and get exposed as a shell of what he once was.

^This! The new Jack Reacher series on Amazon stars a huge guy who happens to be smart too- that's the archetype for a real action hero.

hey Jane! and no …. I’m right in the middle of it ( 2 more operations/ procedures to go)the first one the vein was bigger / thicker gnarlier that they thought so they have to go back in and then they have to do the other leg …… so yea not looking forward to that lol

Just watched the new Roadhouse, i liked it, wasnt expecting an oscar movie and was glad it had just enough wokeness for the younger gen but not enough to deter my review, give it a 4/5.
