Nothing about Kai's workout says "winner". His attitude is pseudo-philosophical "take it as it comes". Seems like last year he wanted it more.

Well look where last year's approach got him.

He clearly responds to lots of deep stretching and stuff like that. I'm sure he can go dang heavy on squatstoo though seeing as he does 5 plates for 5 on bench, and has friggin massive legs.

Yeah, he's too huge to be lifting so light. He's not known as an intensity guy, so am trying to work out the approach, but can't tell from the editing. Maybe its giant sets.

by the way, how many times a week can naturals train without doing more harm than good? (increased cortisol and glucocorticoids, decreased testosterone etc, all consequences of too much drug free training)

i train 3 times a week 5x5 type stuff, considering cutting back to 2 times or should i focus on getting out of the gym in 45 minutes? it usually takes me 1.5 hours to 2 hours or more because i have a workout partner and that slows shit down

I think, in general, hitting the weights 3 times per week is fine, both for naturals and the chemical enhanced. There are so many factors like, being on a split or full body workout, frequency , intensity, volume, recovery time, nutrition, your job, family, etc... etc... I would say, just listen to your body/mind. Do you feel fit, recovered, a good mood, etc...?
IMO for pure weight training 1.5-2 hours is way too much, even with a partner. I would suggest to decrease the volume and time between sets.
