The general consensus is he posed as a fitness-model photographer and lured her into his parent’s basement for a "photo shoot". As he was taking pictures, she continued to talk about her boyfriend, and how much she loves him. She asked Adam if he would be her "friend". This enraged Adam and he was forced to kill her so he would have her forever. He keeps her body in the meat freezer so his parents won't smell it.
At night, he props her up in a chair and shares a bottle of the local convenience store’s finest wine. He then shows off by doing a couple of pull-ups, followed by making passionate love to her lifeless body.
