It's soil, not dirt

Sorry - been stealing US TV today.
BUT
You plant in soil. You dont plant in dirt. Stop selling dirt Martha Stewart.

Soil is not dirt because dirt is a subset of soil. Soil has dirt in it but contains additional components that are teeming with life and that make it possible for plants to thrive.

We recently bought patio furniture from the Martha Stewart collection. I feel like I should return it after reading this thread. It’s soil, not dirt you stupid, old whore!
