For example like Miatas are considered a "chick car" but I see mostly bearded old men driving the stock ones or young guys doing trackdays with the modified ones with roll bars. Similarly with the Corvette, they used to be all about the balding middle age crisis man who gets a sports car/Corvette and (tries to get) a young girlfriend, yet the Z06 is a beast and you see a lot of them on the track as well. I wouldn't have a problem driving a good trackday Miata or a Z06. On the other hand, bro trucks/coal rollers and BMWs seem to hold on the stereotypes quite well.
The point is, drive the car that you enjoy the most and not give a fuck about what others think.

Damn, I'm a Mustang fan by blood, but I gotta admit that Camaro is out to stab mustang where it hurts most.....I am Impress so far with what Camaro has done with the re-design and their performance......Mustang is hoping Camaro is not out to out-sale them again this time......so far, based on popular opinions, the Base Camaro SS is way ahead of the Mustang GT in term of performance......saw one last week, looks like the 2SS and that's one mean looking son of a biatch......wait till the ZL1 come out in September.....fans can't wait to see the GT350-R on track with the ZL1......I can't wait.... :P...oh wait, what about the Beastly Z28.....haahhahahahaha.. .Stangs better step up, Fast

The all-electric automotive future is fast approaching, and Japan is leading the way.
The Japan Times reports that the country now has more electric vehicle charging stations than gas stations. This fact comes from Nissan, which said that there are now 40,000 fast-charging stations around the island nation. This outpaces the country’s 34,000 gas stations by a good margin. It should be noted that this figure includes charging stations both on the streets and in homes.
This is great news for Nissan, as the increased availability promises to make its all-electric Leaf even more attractive to Japanese buyers. The Leaf can travel 107 miles on a single charge, and with so many charge points, range anxiety should diminish.
Granted, this number is greatly skewed by including charging stations inside private garages. But that may soon change as well. PlugShare is a website that maps out charging stations across the world, including private ones available for public use. Think of it as Airbnb for car charging. If this concept takes off, then car charging will gain the benefits of the sharing economy.
As for actual charging stations, there are a 6,469 CHAdeMO DC quick chargers in Japan. That number may look small, but compared to Europe’s 3,028 or the 1,686 in the U.S., Japan still far outpaces the rest of the world. If things continue to go this way, then Japan will be on track to have 2 million charging stations by 2020, with 50 percent of new car sales being green.
Japan has been aggressive with tax breaks and subsidies for buyers willing to make a more environmentally conscious purchase. Even Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe boasted that as much as 3 million yen ($27,937) could be offered as subsidies to buyers. With incentives this generous, it’s easy to see why Japan has done so well in the EV space.
With Tesla aggressively pushing its all-electric vehicles in the U.S., incentives could also expand for American buyers.

Correct! Built in 1973, weighs about 4600 pound and has 3 break systems. Not mine, but from 70+ year old powerlifter, who's still strong as fuck and rather spends his money on his hobby than his wife, and I can't blame him for this.

They didn't disappear, they evolved. The Crown Vic, Lincoln Town Car, Grand Marquis rode on the Panther chassis for about 40+ years.

I mean the actual cars themselves have disappeared. If you look at pictures of them, it's like one WTF after the next. You rarely (if ever) see one IRL, but seeing older cars from 60s and early 70s isn't too unusual.
Maybe changes in EPA regulations, or something, made those cars very short lived.

A real-life version of Fred Flintstone's vehicle was slapped with a parking ticket in Key West this week.
Authorities put out a message on Facebook in an effort to find the owner after the replica car - which featured zebra-skin seats and bone-shaped headrests - was found illegally parked in the street.
"This Flintstone car is in front of 828 Emma Street," the message read. "It is illegally parked in the public right of way. It's been red tagged, but the city would really like to find the owner before we have to take it away. Please help us find the owner of this ride... QUICKLY!"
Within minutes social media was awash with hundreds of tongue-in-cheek comments suggesting that officials try tracking down Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble at Mr Slate's Quarry.
The official Flintstones Facebook page also contributed with "Sorry about that! - Fred Flintstone."
Fortunately though, in the end, the owner of the vehicle eventually did come forward to claim it.

The 400R is definitely my favorite car from Nissan. Not the fastest Skyline (that honor belongs to the Z tune r34 model), it is however such a sleek looking machine and 400hp is plenty for the street in my experience. The largest of the 2 door skyline's, the r33 is comfortable and has plenty of room for a sports coupe. Not only that but the rb26 under the hood is so smooth, revs up very quickly and sounds incredible. The perfect daily drivable sports coupe in my opinion. The exterior is not dated like the R32, or overly aggressive like the R34. The AWD layout provides excellent grip in all condition and startling cornering ability on demand with the ATESSA all wheel steering system. In white, the R33 Skyline GTR is stunning, and in midnight purple it is even sexier.
They don't make them like they used to, the R35 GTR looks god awful (awesome car though, I've been in a few).

these Ferraris are beautiful, But nothing leaves a lasting taste like a Pagani Huayra, these are so rare to see.....if you're in south beach, maybe once in while you'll see one, if you're lucky.....it was said only 37 were made for 2017 and all sold out......I'm $3.5 million short, I'll get mine soon..... ;D ;D

I've seen one in person, even sat in the drivers seat, the performance in the Huayra is questionable, there has been independent testing on it, give me the Zonda R any day over this

Unfortunately the 5.7 it's a 2016 though it has the 8 speed transmission so it's fairly quick. In a couple years I'm definitely going to get the 6 4 I wish I would of held out for the scat pack but I needed a veichle right away.
My last car was a gran marquis lol so it was a decent step up for me.

I don't know man. Body kits and aftermarket stuff just seems douche-tastic to me. I'm a purist - I'll stick with the classic. I am watching these super low mileage GT500s pretty close right now. Probably going to end up with one at some point. This is one of those cars that I'll never tire of and not much depreciation left from here on a very clean one. I remember going to look at one on the showroom 2006 ish and the dealer had sold it 20k over sticker the day before.

Some serious amateur Dukes of Hazzard shit was going down in Long Beach yesterday, with the skill and planning normally associated with stunt driving replaced with speed, inattention, and a 300 pound boulder to get effectively the same result: a car flying through the air. Incredibly, nobody was hurt in the wreck.
To really get a sense of the raw action-movie qualities of this wreck, you should watch the video, captured from multiple angles by nearby surveillance cameras:
True to their aviation roots, the temporarily flying car was a BMW M4, and the car it hit upon landing was a Mazda 3, and the boulder, not to be outdone, hit a Camaro.
Witnesses say the car was going “about 100 mph” before driving right into the roundabout’s landscaped center, when it hit the boulder that sent it flying what seems to be at least ten feet into the air:
That boulder also got knocked about 30 feet away or so, too, where it reached the Camaro.
Incredibly, the driver, an unidentified woman, walked out of the car unharmed after the crash. She was taken into police custody for suspicion of DUI, where the investigation is ongoing.
Never drive drunk, of course. This person got spectacularly lucky.
UPDATE: Many commenters are pointing out this isn’t so much a roundabout as a four-way intersection with a traffic-calming island. They’re right, for what it’s worth.
