It's IMPOSSIBLE for Liberals to tell the truth

Coach I've become more and more conservative/right based on taxes I pay and following an audit trail for that. There would be no way I could support a guy that immature though. A president that insults people day in and day out on social media like that. He's not really a good person, seems hard to support someone with such lack of moral code.

Totally agree with this comment on character. Prediction: the next president whether it be in 2 years or 6 years (hopefully 2) will be a man or woman who will be perceived as having high moral fiber and who parents can see as a role model for the next generation. Nobody, whether liberal or conservative, really would want their children to grow up and be like Trump.

While I'd love to believe that as I hope to still be above ground, there's some things you're not factoring into your prediction.  Mainly, birth rates are down.  

I don't like to bring up racial and gay stereotypes as I see people for what they are and how they behave, not their color or who they fuck.  (Yes, I joke sometimes just like others, but I have no real malice in me when I do...except for rapes,murders,pedo shitheads...fuck them all.. race/preference be damned)  That being said, statistically whites are having way less children, gay people can have children...but they can't make them together, black men tend to still pump and dump when it comes to their children's mothers, and views on what is "moral" or "ethical" have been changed drastically with every passing generation.  

My point is, we're going to have a reduced population (or one that looks like some other countries), a significantly "lowered standard" of morality ("my view", but I think most agree), and likely an even bigger presence of social media (followers of "stars").  That does not seem like a mix that would be concerned with finding a POTUS with high moral fiber, or one that would be a family type role model, as families are going by the wayside my friend.

The top 1% did well under Obama and even better under Trump now * the Trump tax reforms of 2017-18.

Most of us middle class working slobs (the 80% and me included) pay about the same tax % the last 25 years.
Our home mortgage , tax rate didn't change much . The only thing that went up a lot was health care and college tuition.

Trump got the middle class worked up over the womb and the wall ( * abortion and immigration).
People often say they vote on issues. Really? That's NOT what gets them exccited.
They love Trump's direct, rude manner.
To his base, they feel he's telling "them" how it is.

Sadly, this tuns the other political party into an evil force.

Trump is being given a free pass because Obama was a lying sack of pus. Bill Clinton repealed the Glass-Steagall Act, the one that culminated with the subprime mortgage crisis and an bunch other issues that people aren't even aware of, like letting banks hide huge amounts of debt behind a different accounting protocol that allows them to account for debt in a non-mark to market manner. If people knew how much in debt their banks are they would run to the bank right now.

All courtesy of the liberal gusto. Oh, and Obama got the Nobel Peace Price for, among many other things, closing down Guantánamo and helping undocumented immigrants get their papers. None of which he did of course.

In comes Trump and... what were people expecting? After back-to-back liberal disasters, all the Donald has to do is show up and speak once in a while. The only problem for liberals is that he is speaking AND getting things done. And if he keeps going this way, by the time his second term rolls around he could be doing porn, smoking crack and getting fucked in the ass on public TV and people would STILL love him.

In a very "reptilian brain" (see Clotaire Rapaille,) The Donald is a genuine prick. Genuine nonetheless.

I accept some of the general trends you cite, but the statistics are still on the side of two parent families. Two years ago (2016), 69 percent of children in US live with their two parents. That’s down from 88 percent in 1960 but it’s still way the majority. For LOTS of people (especially women), who they want for President has a lot to do with their children. That can slice liberal (education, health care) and that can slice conservative (taxes, family values) but my point is overall moral character plays a very big role, especially in a situation like the current situation.

Exactly. Regardless of any actions someone took to benefit me if they are a person with no moral code and lack kindness, I couldn’t support them.

Not even bothering with %change calculation, and that's 19% drop in 56 years so -.34% per yr if my math is right which if trend holds true 2019 will be down to just under 68% and in 6yrs -2.04% (just say 66%)  Now, you still have less people getting married and having fewer children(at least what's reported in the "news"), as well as an increasing gay population not able to re-create, and both sexes seemingly saying to hell with any type of long term relationships and/or kids as well.  I believe women are actually in the majority now if the stats I've seen are right, but less guys are wanting to have kids with them.  I'm hopeful, you are right and I am wrong as I don't like how things are currently. I think we both have valid points. 

I think in 5 years we will see 2021's stats (why are they always so far behind?), and we'll see whether that decline has accelerated or not.  It's pretty much in the hands of millenials now.  Not sure what your age is, but I'm not going to be improving those numbers at this point in my life.
