Total system power of the 2017 Acura NSX is 573hp – 500hp from the V6 engine and 73hp from the front TMU. Acura estimates that the hybrid supercar can reach a top speed of 191 mph.

My personal opinion is this car would have been so much better had they dropped the electric motors and battery and lowered the price by $60K. The high price means it will compete with R8's with Lamborghini engines and 911 turbo's. At 3800 lbs the NSX weighs 500 lbs more than a corvette.

Also, Will people be willing to spend that kind of money on a car with an Acura badge?

it’s very hard to mess up the styling of a mid-engine sports car. The mechanical layout, very desirable to serious racers, allows excellent proportions for a two-seater, and it just seems emotionally desirable to most of us. So, yes, it’s very hard to screw up, but Acura has managed it.

Unlike German and Italian junk, the NSX won't become your service manager's best friend.

With that said, the GT-R is probably a better value.

I happen to prefer Japanese engineering which takes priority over styling.

People that can afford these cars really don't care if X is faster than B and is 55k cheaper or better value

Many cars are cheaper and faster than ferraris and Porsches for half of the price if not more, but do people give a shit that buy them.... No

It has "big stupid grills" grills in the front for cooling, where many of the intercoolers go. It is AWD and has electric engines in the front as well. The R8 and the Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 918, Mclaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, Lamborghini have big grills up front and they are mid engine (with a few mentioned that have hybrid drive as well). Sometimes the best place to put the intercoolers is up front.
