So what are your natural test levels right now and how difficult was it to come off of steroids after being on so long? Also what was your pct like. I give you props on coming off of everything man its not easy. I'm thinking about getting off TRT after being on for about 2 years because I feel like my test levels were just low from being sick at the time of the results and the medication i was taking. Lol I got to say Im really sick of injecting myself twice a week.
I have not tested my levels just yet so I couldn't give you a correct estimate. What I can go off of is that every attempt I tried with the clomid restart with my doctor, my test levels would increase from low 200's to the 5-600's or so, and it would stay there. A few weeks after I got off the clomid therapy it would shoot back down to the low 200's on all 3 different attempts. We used 100mg clomid from the pharmacy for 4 weeks on every attempt. Every attempt was a few months apart from each other.
For me coming off of steroids after so long was easy for two main reasons. One, I had problems with performing ever since I started deca that lasted for way too long and I was finally sick of it. I literally needed to take a full 20mg cialis and cross my fingers to hope it would work and kick in by the time I would be ready to get it on, and also hope the sides from the cialis didn't freaking kill me (massive brutal headaches, stuffy nose, eyes glossy like I'm all fucked up). So that was one reason and combining it with the fact that I cut down my schedule from working full time (and making a significant amount of money) to working 1 day a week to start school again full time because I do not wish to be working in the industry I am now 5 years from now. Even though the money is great. So when I started school I went to the gym two times only, and after the second time as I was studying and reading between sets I saw how detrimental it was (think opportunity cost, I could be accomplishing so much more with that hour in terms of my education and we all know an hour is really more like 3 hours because of the pre work meal, slin, shots, post workout meal, commute to and from gym, etc etc you know what I mean). So yeah... that was the end of the gym and steroids for me. Literally the best decision I have ever made was to drop the steroids, cut down my work schedule and get back in school. I am very happy now.
If you are going to want to try and come off, do so with a doctor is my recommendation. I do have a friend from Ohio who used to go into the doctors office so they could administer his hrt injections for him, and after a few years somehow when I last talked to him he was able to come off the hrt and recover his normal levels by working with the doctor. If I get blood work done soon which I should just for the sake of it, I will post an update.
