I put my money on Maul, as he could fight multiple opponents at once.

dark horse comics publishes a bunch of star wars comics, they are the official comics company of SW, it used to be Marvel but they lost it...I think there's a comic out there where they bring Maul back from the dead and him and vader might go at it, I think Vader wins but I could be wrong about that. I hardly remember it so I might be making it up without even knowing it...

Lord Vader was born out of pure Force.
The one who brings the balance. He really was the chosen one!

...and then he ascended/decended to the dark side.

Maybe,at their prime,Maul was more athletic but, as we saw from Yoda, its nothing important.

In that comic book Vader wins. If Vader had not gotten into that lava accident on Mustafar he would easily kick Maul's ass. But with Vader in the suit it is a toss up.

That's what I'm saying. Although I doubt know about the whole "kicking Maul's ass" thing. It would be a challenge.

That's what made Darth Maul a Sith. He was tapped into the Dark Side of "The Force". I believe I read that Darth Maul can display the same powers that Darth Tyrannus and Darth Sidious can display - force lighting. But abandons its use in place of wielding his lightsaber.

maul was pretty bad ass and he showed that he had the powers of a sith...right before the big fight in episode 1 maul is walking backwards and points to an object and uses the force to pick it up and smash it into the control panel of a door behind him, also-god I sound like a nerd- you need the force to be able to fight 2 jedi's at once, it lets you "see" what they're gonna do thus his reactions could keep up with what the jedi were going to do...or something like that.

Hellz yeah! I have no shame to say I'm a fuckin' nerd when it come to talking about Star Wars.

Anyway, yes, the lightsaber fight at the end of Episode I was by far the best lightsaber fight of all the Star Wars films. It displayed how bad ass Darth Maul really is.

Darth Maul is cool.

Too bad he dies in the first one, they should have set the showdown in the second film. Would have been way cooler if he kills Qui Gon Jin and escapes, then Obi Wan finishes him off in the next part.
