Title: Drinking - What's your favorite drink/beer fellas?
Post by: Big N on November 10, 2012, 11:57:33 AM
What's your favorite drink/beer fellas? For me it'll be scotch on the rocks when I'm chasing broads, ketel one vodka on the rocks when I'm with strippers, and budlight for my Football games.

Jack and coke, I like to keep it simple.  If I feel like beer then I go for a really hoppy IPA.

Brazilian cachaça from sugar cane.
Cheap ones have a strong after taste, but the top products aged in wood are very good and smooth.

Bourbon and ginger ale, with about three fingers of the good stuff minimum.

I've tried moonshine and thoroughly enjoyed it, at least for 15 minutes or so.  I was all like, "Bah, this stuff ain't shit!"

My trip to the porcelain throne proved otherwise :D

I don't think I'll ever touch that stuff again.  Maybe a sip or three, but that's it.  Just a couple of sips are more than enough to get someone good and tipsy.

Up in Ontario, Canada, you have to buy beer at the Beer Store or Liquor Store.

This weekend, I did the "Beer of the World" tour at the Liquor Store. Went to the back, and started buying individual king cans of beer I've never heard of. Bought 12 and drank 'em.

My parole officer said that it counts towards my multi-cultural sensitivity training, since my little aggressive driving incident at a recent peace rally during the last G8 summit.

Actually If you want to score with chicks and get them to make out with you, ALWAYS make sure when you take them to a bar that you order for them......make sure they have at least four drinks and make sure that you mix up the drinks......

what I have found that women have a very low tolerance of alcohol when the drinks are different and varied.....when they drink the same drink over and over they feel good but they are still too much in control of their faculties...

varying brands of liquor gets them really hammered and you'll be making out right in the bar guaranteed

making out in bar means sex in car, and you can take them home and get right to getbig.

kiss in car, you have to go to one of your houses, which means you aren't posting by midnight.  Truly catabolic times.

No..I'm saying that women try to pretend they don't want to have sex and want to "wait"....however once they get lubed up with a few drinks (preferably tequila) the inhibitions are gone and you can move quickly past the bullshit to the next level

you know this already....why fuck with me? ;)

Never heard of Johnny Walker green. Is it more expensive than Johnny Walker Blue?

I don't drink anything in the whiskey family so years ago I wasn't familiar with Johnny Walker Blue. I was at a party and the host said I want you to try something I know you will like. He poured me about 4 ozs in a glass of Johnny Walker Blue. I took a sip and decided it wasn't for me and later poured it down the sink. When I heard a bottle goes for over $150 I nearly had a heart attack. The next day I bought a bottle and tried to give it to him but he refused. That bottle was in my liquor cabinet for years. Guests sure liked it.

blue's the most expensive

and I actually met a Scot in Krakow who was a rep for the Johnny Walker company and he told me flat out that the blue wasn't worth it, and that the green was the best for it's price

from least to most expensive it goes like this: red/black/green/gold/blue

Well my Uncle Donald ( who i am named after ) used to work in a Distillery in Islay of the west coast of Scotland. My Mother and Uncle were Born and grew up there and spoke real Gaelic. Anyway my Uncle lost half a leg and lived with us in Central Scotland so i got to know him very well. He drunk whisky always neat. The whisky they made in Islay was Islay Mist. A very expensive Malt. I do not drink whisky myself, only Beer.

Kahlooua? With skim milk

What is Kahlooua? Is it the same as Kahlua. I like a coffee nudge when it is cold out or if I am up at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood.

Instructions:

 1. Place 1 oz. of brandy in a heavy mug. Add 1/2 oz. Kahlua and 1/2 oz. creme de cacao.

 2. Fill the cup with fresh, hot coffee, but leave a bit of room at the top for whipped cream. Stir well.

 3. Top the coffee nudge with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Garnish the whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles or curls, a light dusting of nutmeg or cinnamon. Use a stick of fresh cinnamon as a stirrer, if desired.

It is quite hard to decide, because there is so much good liquors and so little time. Here is my top eight, which I try to keep in my bar all the time:

(http://www.tequila.net/images/stories/jreviews/375_buscadores_anejo_tequila_1176676547.jpg)Tequila Buscadores anejo

(http://www.nbl.fi/~nbl1891/kuvat/XQ.jpg) Tequila XQ Reposado

(http://thecocktailgeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Patron-Silver.jpg) Tequila Patrón Silver

(http://www.benriachdistillery.co.uk/images/114_BenRiach_WoodFinish_15_ped.png)Ben Riach single malt with sherry wood finish

(http://www.nickollsandperks.co.uk/images/products/711791NVBND.jpg) Glengoyne single malt cask strength

(http://www.liquorature.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/appleton-estate-12-year-old-rum-175-p.jpg)Appelton Estate rum, 12 years old

(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f0/Cognac_Braastad_XO_and_tulip_shaped_glass.JPG/552px-Cognac_Braastad_XO_and_tulip_shaped_glass.JPG) Braastad  XO cognac

(http://www.viinikauppa.com/catalog/images/500016579.jpg) Russki Standard platinium Vodka

Kind of "tip of the iceberg", because there is lot of good premium tequilas, whiskeys, rums, absinthe's, vodkas etc. to drink. As you may have realize, I don't drink to be drunk, but to enjoy the taste of the premium products, with a good cigar. Drinking and training is bad combination, so I take a drink or two every now and then, smoke a cigar and relax.

(http://img.cigarsinternational.com/p/500/cs/s/cs-sqa.jpg) + (http://for-lovers.com/store/media/catalog/product/cache/2/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/f/i/file_14_163.jpg) = happy me  ;D

I like the handle you awarded me (optimusprimemuscle or more accurately spelled optimistprimemuscle).

Your offer to buy me a scotch is very nice. I am not a huge beer drinker, but when I drink beer, I like Hefeweizen or Guiness. German beers, when you get them in Germany, are the best.

Ha! We've never had a booze thread that hasn't broken out in snobbery.   ;D

I suppose if someone likes and is accustomed to PBR, Bud and Miller Lite, then anything else would be snobbish  ;D

Plain and simple: Life is too short to drink cheap piss. Sorry about that, but that is the way it is. Cheap alcohol is for teens and drunks, it isn't meant to be pleasure, but make you drunk fast. Then there is quite a bunch of adults, who want their drink to taste as good as possible, so they doesn't drink cheap piss. It isn't snobbery, but common sense. If you want to drink good stuff, it is better buy good stuff. If you want to get drunk, any fucking alcohol do the trick. You should understand that binge drinking is for children's and idiots, there isn't anything fine and excellent in that  ::)

For you 15 years old little wankers this could seem to be gay, but then, what isn't? For us adults wine is nice and refreshing drink, which make girls horny. This you could not know because your only sexual experience comes from playing with yourselves.

It seems that nobody has a clue about what quality single malt Scotch Whisky is.

Why do you say that?

I restocked my Macallan 18 (sherry oak) a few weeks ago.  It's fairly cheap where I live ($165) compared to other places in Canada.  It's my #1 choice of single malts.  The 12 is good too and a bit of a bargain at less than half the price, but the 18 if fcukin' awesome.  It's the gold standard, IMO.  Of course you can get more expensive single malts, but the price is based more on scarcity than taste.  Nothing I've every tried compared to the 18, but I haven't tried the 25yr or 30yr (yet).
