I like MDs more because we see more of his awesome physique. He looks great there. The FLEX shot is just the arm and chest, which (in that particular shot) isn't as inspiring or impressive.

In a day and age when YOU are considered an "expert"...both covers look like shit. and phil looks like a slin baloon
back in the 70's and 80's, bb was still as gay and shady but the magazines sold a much better image ... more elegant and the bodybuilders looked a zillion times better

I remember back in '03 I was 21 and would always get my MD from the bookstore at the mall. It was always a walk of shame to the counter to pay for it, tried to avoid eye contact and hoping they would just ring me up and not talk about my purchase.

I have a few "old" (early 2000s) muscle mags sitting in my room that I used to read back in the day. Skimmed one or two of them recently and there is some decent nutritional information and the odd good article in them.
