Perhaps the Chinese powder and basement brews that are out there passing themselves off as anavar nowadays (when in fact they contain dianabol or some other vastly cheaper androgenic compound), but not legitimate oxandrolone. 100% legitimate pharmaceutical oxandrolone (brand name Oxandrin or generic) will not provide any masculinization effects in the majority of women up to 30-40mg daily. This comes not only from first hand experience in application as a PED, but also from several years of experience with HIV patients, as well as countless independent studies. Two compounds that are typically thought of as being "safe" as far as least masculinizing is concerned (nandrolone and stanazolol), have proven to be the most masculinizing. 10mg of winstrol a day is a recipe for disaster in a very short period.

I ate at the restaurant often and every time I saw her it was a different subject... stories about Romano's cocaine and steroid usage (she caught him injecting once), relationships with multiple women and all the kids he had (some out of wedlock), all the different places John lived and how he moved around a lot because certain people were "after" him. She did not seem to like/admire her father very much. She was angry at him about how he treated Shelley. She said Shelley was very nice... John not only cheated on her, but he used and took advantage of her... he convinced her to "up the dose" so she could get on the American Gladiators tv show. Shelley never wanted to be on that show, but John made her do it because he needed the money.
It was a 25mg/day, atleast that was the number admitted to. He also made mention of knowing certain girls from Gold's had to shave every few days, otherwise they'd start to show a beard. Didn't mention Denise for that, but he did mention a few known girls, who I won't mention out of kindness.

I personally know girls who have done low dose winny with ZERO masculinization side effects. I worked with a girl years ago who was dead set on using and had never used anything before and could not risk anyone knowing due to her family and job. She used 10 mgs winny and put on a very good amount of size with zero sides. Now, with any drug if you go high enough sure sides will happen, but with Anavar I can easily tell just by their voice. In fact, a couple weeks ago I was talking to a figure competitor and I noticed her voice and asked her how much var she was using. You could tell she was pretty taken aback by my question she then told me 50mgs. daily. ;D
Someone mentioned on here that Denise took Anadrol and if you listen to some of her videos her voice doesn't sound bad at all in fact it sounds pretty normal. Dan Duchaine was known for putting women on drol and if you keep the dose low enough, around 20 mgs or so you will not get the deep voice you encounter from Var, but you will build some good size.
Just wanted to add this. When it comes to winny I would never recommend a woman taking injectable, it metabolizes far too quickly and will cause sides. So for example if a woman was going to use 10 mgs daily of oral and she thought that using 50 to 100 mgs inject weekly was the same then no it's not as far as causing sides. As far a deca is concerned if a woman is going to use deca they may a well use test.

I recall reading an article where Kim said that she hated how big her body got towards the end. That she hated shopping for clothes because before bodybuilding she used to be able to wear small clothes. She down sized, loss muscle on purpose and competed in fitness. Hi guys. Well, once she split from Venice I completely lost contact with her.
Prior to her leaving she was starting to act weird. She lived on Sunset Ave, right down the street from Golds Venice. That neighborhood was the turf of two gangs- VSLC Venice Shoreline Crips and V13 Venice 13.

OK so I got some info and without giving away too much of her privacy I was told that one of her close relatives whom the PI spoke to said that Denise is alive and well and is doing her best to stay on the right path and preaching the word of god. I haven't spoken with her directly but the person that did said ever since these mug shots people have been trying to contact her to do interviews with her or just trying to find out what's going on out of curiosity. There are a few fan pages on FB and she did attempt at one point to start one herself but that didn't work out to well. Since she would not give an interview a couple people decided to just put an update on their own which doesn't paint her in a very good light. I'm kind of surprised after all these years there are people that were and still are hounding her for various reasons. I'm not going to get into her personal life. My only reason to make an attempt to contact her was to see if she was OK and if she needed any help. At this point in time she is doing well and has family by her side.

Wow - a week! With my much more limited experience than yours (knowing first hand what around 10 or so women took - or at least purchased), I thought I noticed something else which seemed counter-intuitive to me at the time but you may be able to explain please. (Or else I was just plain wrong in my observations).

I can say that I have it on good- indisputably good :)- authority that she is ultra-religious now so much so that she has recited the bible in its entirety. Denise Rutkowski: Her surname seemed a clearcut indication to many that she way of Polish background and heritage but after a conversation with one of her closest acquaintances, this notion was immediately debased. For more than can be comprehended, Denise was for the most part victimized by peoples' uninformed assumptions and this is only a minor example and testament to the fact that no conclusions should be reached without full information and context. Denise wasn't raised by her biological father (only her mother) and managed to adopt her step-father's family name; Rutkowski. Originally, she is Pennsylvanian Dutch. She was passionate about a number of things, most notably, bodybuilding and looking after the wellbeing of others (which she still does to a certain extent today).
I personally tried to steer away from any sort of probable gang involvement she might have had. One, because it would almost be impossible to get all the details on which to draw any meaningful conclusion from and two, whenever any inevitable reference was made to the issue, I just got pieces of information that branched into hundreds of pressing questions that, again, are almost impossible to answer. The "giveaways" eventually did get out of hand...she stopping helping these kids and started just spoiling/entertaining them...maybe she was just trying to get them to experience a life that she knew they would never get a chance to experience given their conditions... at the end of the day, thats only for her to say.
That's the thing, I tried hinting at those mugshots in one of my conversations and the response I got was "Yeah, she was arrested for trespassing" but like you said, those pictures tell a much different, deeper story but I can't just ask someone were you on drugs? So I just bite my tongue. As far as the facial hair is concerned, that was fully admitted to, she used steroids and these were the side-effects. She did have electrolysis (hair removal therapy) I don't know for how long but it clearly didn't achieve the desired result. As for drugs, she had some sort of involvement with a cartel in California but apart from that I couldn't get anymore detail because as I was told this was a highly sensitive issue for Denise giving anything away could still imperil her- part of the reason why she has gone incognito.
Spoke with her directly once only that was on the 19th of Aug, it is not easy to get hold of her as one might think. Apart from that I have been in contact with someone really close to her, can't give much away here.

Larry frequently did cover shoots and feature pictorial shoots for Muscle and Fitness Magazine and FLEX Magazine. Big Lou Ferrigno, Denise and several other athletes including moi were included on the shoot. Given it was a BIG shoot, The Master Blaster himself, Joe Weider was present to orchestrate things. And. Joe was a "hands-on" participant when it came to assisting athletes in photos shoots. And I mean "hands on" both figuratively and..well... literally.
At one point during the shoot Denise was about to be photographed solo. She was wearing a shimmering gold bikini. As she started to pose, Joe observed she needed more oil on her skin in order to maximize her spectacular physique for the photos. Hence, Larry and all the rest of us on the shoot waited as Joe got "hands-on" oiling up Denise.
Now, if you're a bodybuilding fan you will know "oiling up" for an athlete is akin to being a chicken on a rotisserie except the chicken doesn't move. In this case, the athlete Denise, stood relatively still as Joe circled around her oiling her up. This, is when the shoot truly became memorable! Eventually, Joe ended up at her chest. And boi oh boi...as he vigorously and enthusiastically patted oil on her impressive pecs her boobs began bouncing up and down like two hyperactive kids on a trampoline at Chucky Cheeses. The expression on Denise's face - PRICELESS!!!
All of us witnessing this spectacle giggled as Denise stood there giving us the "WTF?? look while Joe did the "hands-on". Not sure about the dosages, but anavar is one of the mildest orals (androgenic factor). Her excess body hair was most prob caused by high androgenic PEDs.And it got destroyed by high androgenic PED’s. I wish that women’s bodybuilding didn’t start competing with the men’s. That's the great thing about bodybuilding: there's a stage for almost anyone, from bikini to bodybuilding and from natural to enhanced. Even when it's not you're cup of tea, it's pretty sad that for the competitors and the public/schmoes, there almost isn't room for female bodybuilding at a high level, the Phoenix and a couple of other pro shows excluded.
Yes hormone abuse was ultimately down to these women's own volition but how much of it was peddled by the industry (judging panels, Joe Weider, sponsors, schmoes and basically anyone willing to cough up cash)? IMHO, they should've put the brakes on after the Cory Everson era...

Plain and simple. Early 90's. 1st room of Golds Gym , Venice. Soon to be IFBB pro Denise Rutkowski is training for the USA to be held in Santa Monica.
