he used to have one of those herniated navels

i think he got it removed...it used to look horrible...fux had a really bad one too

nothing serious, the alien burst out and they had to stitch him back up. he's from germany though. he was back lifting weights within the hour.

Jesus, look at the conditioning difference in the older pics.

There were bags of water hanging off Ruhl's back this time. Probably didn't care to dial it in here since it's a smaller show.

He cannot dial it in anymore.
He can get better than in Spain but not back to the look he had 5 years ago.

I think we saw the best of him at the NOC he won, it has been more or less downhill from there.

Im a huge Ruhl fan, but am getting pretty sick and tired of seeing Markus showing up looking like he is still 5 weeks out. Hes been a pro for ages, surly he should know how to get conditioned. Still 6 days till the Olympia, but judging from what he looked like at the Santa Susanna, that aint enough time. Someone tell him to start his contest prep about 2 weeks earlier next time.

damn guys, sorry for stating my opinion ??? I have never had these many people attack me out of the blue in one thread, LOL. Anyway, his physique looks ugly in the picture I pointed to, I stand by that. Not that you guys did much to counter my position- yes he's massive, but FAR FAR FAR away from the bodybuilding ideal. His most muscular does look ridiculous though  :o

ruhl on the other hand looked amazing in his early and mid 20s
