I know palin flirted with the gender issue in her introductory speech to the nation about cracks in the ceiling, but aside from that, the GOP doesn't seem to embrace the fact.
I do think you're right - I know a few women who would look past her positions/experiences and vote for her, and it could be enough to swing moderates and give her the election.

Because so far we don't have any viable candidates. Again, vote on a true candidate and not just on emotion. I don't care we vote on a man, women, black, white, etc. if they have a proven record. May the best person win. Libs vote on emotion not on substance. Thats why they tend to fail.

I'm guessing Susanna Martinez, Sarah Palin or Condolezza Rice would be the top choices from a betting standpoint and all of those would be extreme long shots.
Keep an eye on Kelly Ayotte out of New Hampshire in the future although she has kinda floating below the radar in relation to the other 3.
