First of all, get it into your head that this is a bodybuilding board and the G&O is for topics bb related. Duh. That is why there are other boards are (30+) for other topics, and which they get moved too. Second, talk about Gimmicks. Do you really think that I am that stupid as to not know that MXPeacekeeper and GigantorX are not the same person. Dude - I know, so lay off the gimmick, and just use one to complain.
 

Actually, it shouldnt be and it is getting old. Yes, pointing out criticisms and debating and getting 'owned' is interesting, but pure haterade that some of you think is funny is not.

It isnt here for some of you to bash bodybuilders and bodybuilding in every post you do, and always complain about everything negative. Yes, I look it it, look at the last 30 posts that someone has done, see it is all negative, and boom - it is old.    

I am looking for ways to promote bodybuilding, the expos, because I LIKE GOING TO THESE SHOWS AND EXPOS, not juts complaining about everything. I like the NPC. the IFBB, with their faults and all.  You don't like it, don't go.  Shit, some of you are worse than a nagging grandmother who sees the glass have empty all the time, not half full.  

So get it into your head, it is a bodybuilding and anything related to it board. Not a haterade and bashing board to get your kicks off and ruin the expo and sport. I like coming here to see get stories, talk about what is going on, and having fun, not pure crap and hatered, and unrelated topics, which, when some are so stupid the get deleted, and others get moved to the right board.

Correct, random topics will be moved eventually. Bodybuilding and other related stories in the news, industry, figure, fitness and more will stay.  Plain attacks on every thread that is unrelated, porn, stupid videos that are not related to the topics, gay slamming every time, will be deleted or moved.

You don't like the censorship, too bad.  You need to enjoy the boards, and contribute to them rather than complain.

Agreed. Ron is still the man. I think getbig has an ebb and flow about it, sometimes shit will be stricter than other. Right now I believe the mods are tightening things up a bit, but it will loosen, as they have other commitments to tend to in their personal or professional lives.

I just think it is at is best when the cats are away and the mice can play!

Get Big USED to be on of the most reasonably moderated sites on the internet. It was a place that was laugh out loud funny but was also stocked with solid and informed posters. Discussions on all topics were great. Now, Ron and his cabal have cracked down on the very things that made Get Big one of the best places on the net for anything.

Now, the best posters must hide behind stupid gimmicks to let loose and be entertaining. Those that speak from their real handles hold back because they don't want to speak their minds and get tossed in Time Out.

There are boards that will give you a one week suspension from posting for even calling another poster a "fool", whilst in Getbig people regularly insult other posters' mothers and don't even get a warning for it. The only things that will get you in time out are posting gay porn on the main boards - regular porn is ok -, making anti-Semitic remarks and calling Peter McGough fat. With the exception of these three things, everything else goes: threads ridiculing other posters fatness/gayness, threads ridiculing the financial status and family of other poster - see the Derek Anthony vs Squatfucker feud -, posting pics of naked female genitalia and of double-anal penetration, racist posts - except for anti-Semitism. Hell, Matt C wrote thousands of paragraphs about the supremacy of whites and Asians over other races for months, and he was only put in time out when he finally started to make anti-Jewish remarks. Gebig is by far the freest board on the net.

Agree 100%. Ron lets us talk about men in thongs online for free. I think we should be grateful and at least be a little respectful of the rules. Heres some ripped glutes to even things out.
