To me, that record was Cornell at his absolute best.
He was pretty badass in this song as well. Grunge was -IMO- one of the few musical light points in the nineties.
Agree, but I think the label "Grunge" kinda marginalizes it. Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana ... shit, it's just bad ass rock n roll to me.
After that period, rock was never the same. I mean there was a few good records popping up here and there but that was the last good era for rock music imo.
