completely true, your hamstring supports you through the ecentric part of the squat...

If you squat properly, hamstrings and glutes are the primary movers wrt hip extension (the standing up part).

Very true - take it further and consider this - strong deadlift, stronger squats.

Practice the deadlift my son and you will get very strong indeed.  :)

If you squat properly, hamstrings and glutes are the primary movers wrt hip extension (the standing up part).

this is why I believe full depth squats so you get the full stretch and involvement of the glutes and hams too!
