I don't think Phil's done a show outside of the Mr. O in years. Guess Phil is following in the previous Mr. O's shoes. Ronnie and Dorian would usually do a few shows after.

Yep and fuck that. Just my opinion but he's flawless. He could easily win the Olympia even next year. But people will say he doesn't have 3D looking muscles or he lacks maturity. ::) I've always been the type that the best should win period

Call me crazy, but I just think Bonac is the only guy currently that has that Colemanesque muscle maturity and detail. Heath is the only other guy with that 3-D pop to his physique. Jay Cutler never had that and that's why I was never a fan.
That Klancir dude looks really good but he doesn't have that crazy detail that only comes with time and maturity.

I bet it's because he's a pus and he knows there is a high likelihood of him losing, not being protected by certain judges etc.

His physique will be maxed out, with a gut. Question is, do the schmoes pulling the strings prefer that look? Bay has made it obvious that injury riddled, past prime mass monsters are high dollar items. Take later era branch for example.

BETHERE .... The term "Paid his dues" can mean many different things to many different people.
And that term plus 'It's politics" have been around for a long time now.
If possible would you give me some idea of what has to be done that would suffice for payment of one's dues.
I wss not present when Danny Hester won his Olympia title last year but many fans say that the payment of his dues got him tha twin.
I would only agree with that statement if his 'payment' was a result of the large number of years in which he has compted within the NPC.
So ... In your mind what requirements are necessary to 'pay those dues'?

it was tongue in cheek, no one should have to pay their dues, but people in pro shows get placed on reputation coming into shows rather than on the day.
Its clear that guy has a pro show winning physique, but when people like Roelly turn up who is clearly the worst bodybuilder of the two Roelly wins..

Speaking of gimmicks, it occurred to me that Phils little belly button monster may have been an intentional effort to introduce belly button jewelry into bodybuilding starting at next year's Mr. O. Phil can have the designer line all ready to go to market and then Bam, clean up as first mover for the newest fad in bodybuilding.

Where is Petar's back pics? He looks good from the front, not outstandingly, no real "pop" to his muscles. Like Phil or hate him, he's got that certain look, Palumbo and others call it a "3D effect".

Ramy displaying piano key serratus and intercostals, a rare thing these days, especially for someone his size. And he looks like he reduced his thighs slightly. Hopefully he'll keep moving in this direction! And Rhoden's midsection looked very tight. Very cautiously optimistic.

come on Parker, why would they show back pics?? It might prove that he doesn't beat Phil from any angle. Petar looks great but Phil is another level, love him or hate him. It's silly to say he can beat him from any angle or any pose.

He keeps getting better every year. Really starting to nail his conditioning. Whereas Phil gets more smooth and glazy, Ramy is starting to get more dry and grainy. Waist and abs are jaw dropping, especially being at or near 300lbs.

bonac is considered great now only because the whole level of the pros declined!!.. imagine him standing next to shawn ray or levrone at their primes!!.. yes he has good muscle bellies and comes in a good condition,.. over all a good bbr but his upper body looks like it's pressed!!.. no v shape,.. he is good in most of the mandatory poses but not "great" in any of them.. on the other hand ramy's main problem is still the condition.. he has improved it but still needs much more and i think he cant do this unless he scarifies some size.. other than the condition ramy has a much better structure than most of the current pros..
