Dorian Yates 1993 B&W - AI Versions
« on: April 29, 2024, 05:22:37 PM »
I ran some of his B&W photos through FOOCUS / Stable Diffusion. I composited parts of the original photos over the generated ones, and morphed a little here and there. Also deepfaked his 1992 sunken face over the 1993 versions. The front double biceps pose is all generated with the deepfaked face. His grain is lost there, looks more smooth and plastic.

Reminds me of those muscular Belgian bulls.  ;D

I need to run the FDB on a different model, or try a few different prompts - when I get a chance.

There are prompts to improve the feet. Not sure why it put those weird sandles on. I guess you have to specify the shoes, etc.

The crazy thing is that I don't think you can improve on those 1993 shots.

Cool thanks - what I find interesting is that I think even when smoothed out, if you blanked the head out, a lot of GetBiggers would still be able to ID the physiques - based on the origins and insertions, maybe? (nh)

A.I. seems to be turning up more and more in the narrating of videos on YouBoob.  I mispronounces too many things not to be A.I.

Or someone dumber than me.  ;D

That's because that's not the AI narrating but someone dubbing their own voices or using text to speech to produce the speech. If they were smart they would type up their narration and go to ChatGPT, paste the contents and type: Improve Grammar. The bad narration is because the person behind it is lacking the skills. Not the AI. The AI is only as good as what it has been provided with.

What surprised a lot of people is how fast AI mastered language. ChatGPT as a great example. I've used ChatGPT to make my emails more concise and to the point. It can help whittle it down to the basics and remove redundant phrases. I sent one of my sisters a ChatGPT birthday wish, complete with a screenshot of the web interface. She told me that was the first ChatGPT birthday wish she received.  ;D

ChatGPT is also great for translation. But Google Translate is also not bad at all.

Here's an interesting discussion between Brian Greene and Yoshua Bengio who's seen as one of the "Grandfathers of AI". I have a family member who's a computer scientist and is sceptical on whether recent AI is in fact real Artificial Intelligence. Or just complicated code and hardware that can come up with random solutions based on the training models they are provided with.

The AI totally ruined Dorian's "intra-back" proportions and made his back look shitty compared to his real back.

That was actually a composite between the AI and the real photo. Here are the two side by side.

Here are a few RDB shots without any Photoshop work. Notice how the Flexonline.com is also modified. The striations are gone. An AI model that includes striations would be interesting. I am going to see if adding a striations prompt will make a difference.

It's made Dorian's lower trap width narrower.  Dorian had a very unique back structure and the AI wrecked it.

An AI model trained only on Dorian photos would fix that issue. I see what you mean. I am also not sure if the AI is anatomically correct. It adds details that maybe are not possible based on the muscle groups.
