Just got done seeing this. Forgot, even to this day, how stunning Marilyn Monroe was. What a sad story though.

She was a very beautiful woman. By today's "standards" she might even be considered "overweight". But, today's standards are anything but. In truth they are "trends". Marilyn set the bar and many of today's beauties simply limbo under it.

I was just looking at some of her nudes today on aol. For having such a big ass you would think her boobs would have been bigger.
A little fat, attractive but not mind blowing. A lot of her appeal is based on the time frame when she was at her best. Hollywood of the 50's and 60's has a lot of appeal to people. She was interesting and she shagged a lot of famous guys like DiMaggio, Sinatra, Kennedy, etc. Mysterious death, blah, blah, blah.

Not a fan, so glad I didn't live back then. Not surprised Sinatra said she was ripe, she was over weight, looked lazy, and slept around. I'm sure her room was a mess and it was a chore for her to shower every day

I think she was hot and like her figure. Most women today look like inside linebackers from the back. She had a true hourglass shape. Her movie, "Bus Stop" was one of my favorites.

the actresses from the late 40s-70s were very attractive, facially and physique wise. Far more than today. They had a certain clarity/radiance to their skin...and feeling in their smiles. Nowadays, the actresses have this fake manufactured look. And they tend to be all make up and photoshop.

Joe D was a boss.
Did you ever hear the story about him and Sinatra trying to bust in on Marilyn and catch her cheating? Long story short, Sinatra drove him over to this place where they thought she was at. Joe D busts in on the wrong room and scares the holy hell out of some stranger. lol. Marilyn was at a girlfriend's house and wasn't cheating on him at all.........that time anyway.
Joltin' Joe was crazy about that woman.
