I got married and got lazy. I ate alot more than I expended. Simple as that. I'm 215 now. vs. 272 in the fat pics. Well being single helped alot too.

It's exactly what I was thinking the other day. With TV shows being available on line, pirated and with commercial breaks cut out. They have to start making the TV show the actual commercial. As they did here. Product placements and making the show into a commercial is the next logical step for everything in media. Even books are available to download now as e-books, few people pay for them.


This TV show doesn't actually mean anything, it's just one long commercial. Only way to make money.

the publics perception of healthy is based on what they see in commercials.  They'll call a 1000 calorie big mac unhealthy, but call a 1600 calorie Jamba Juice Smoothie healthy, so they drink two of those as a snack and wonder why they can't lose weight.

Exactly.  Food Bias.  I touched on this on another thread recently. In this video they demonstrate it wonderfully.  They take a Taco Salad from Taco Bell and tell them to eat it and evaluate it and then they take the same Taco Salad from Taco Bell and serve it again but this time they pretend it came from a "Healthy" California Bistro.  The responses are night and day difference despite it being the same thing.
