You never know when the idea might hit, and someone might want to buy it. You Tube was started just a year or two ago, and anyone could of made the idea and site, but these two guys chose to get the funding needed and built it. And look.... $1.6 billion. Not bad.

I have a great idea for a web site ( not the one I've been pm'ing 240 about.)

Garraeth, Rob, do you want to accept pm's on the concept? You each would donate your time to build it and set up the paymet systems and we would split the profits.

I don't understand the concept of funding relative to a web site. What do you mean?

We're not looking at a business concept which requires an approach to it's capital costs similar to that of a conventional " free standing " business. We are not looking at leasing a building, housing an inventory and employing a staff of managers, sales persons and laborers.

Were looking at two people who have insight into cyber commerce ( yourself and 240 ) one has an MBA accepting a Pm which delivers an over view of a concept. You look at it and say " In my opinion, it won't fly,"  and you send a brief e-mail saying  " I, Garraeth Jones, return this your Pm with the understanding that I will not persue the development of this concept or discuss it with anyone . . . Or you return the Pm and say " I like the concept tell me more . . . "

Can you explain funding relative to a website? What are the potential costs and what can they be on a high end?

Sure, I can look at a PM and give you feedback. In the feedback I can give some cost estimates.

I'll take you up on this . . . I will type in an overview Saturday and send it to you. I'd do it now but have two back to back 16 hr shifts to deal with.

Thank you, Garraeth.

240, why don't you make a site about 9/11 and the conspiracies behind it? That's right up your street.

maybe someday.  Right now, I'm slammed with trying to grow www.FlashRob.com, improving my own skillset, and planning what I'll be doing should this market end.  Nothing lasts forever and I want to be ready.
