never... just dehydrated... but i have been on a hydration regimen as part of racing for the past year so it passes quickly
drinking just aint worth the after effects even if you dont drink to win even if u just have a nice buzz you still have shit energy in after worlds

yeah it's a drinking, electrolyte and carb regimen meant to keep you at maximum hydration for races... or at least to peak for races... and sunday is my longest run of the week
basically you cycle carbs and salts and drink a lot on a regular basis...

It is nice, but somewhat overrated in my taste. I prefer Russian Standard platinum for sipping and alcohol base of the drinks, and absolut citron, mandarin etc. for flavored vodka. I just got bottle of the Crystal Head Vodka, it is great and smooth, and the bottle is quite nice ;D

Goose is less then $30 a bottle here in the states...Ciroq and Ketel are both better then the rot gut vodka being posted here :-\
Crystal Head is all about the bottle{it does look cool}
don't know about cost where you are but Stoli Elite is the best I've tasted.

Grey Goose is an example of marketing genius. It was created about 1996. I can't count how many guys think it has been around for hundreds of years.
I never understood the appeal premium priced vodkas when mixing. If you are mixing it with something I will bet money most couldn't tell the difference between brands unless you really know your vodka. Now of you have it neat on the rocks I can understand buying an expensive vodka

Vodka makes a great cleaner and disinfectant. I use it all the time on vacation to sanitize my toothbrush and other misc. room cleaning.

By far one of the worst tasting vodkas I had tried was that Ultimat in the blue bottle. Good lord it tasted like potatoes that had been stepped on with dirty feet. And people pay $55 or whatever for something that tastes so bad you have to disguise the taste with hella strong mixers.
The girl that is a rep for them here is good friends with my gf. And she got them to donate two cases of the vodka for a Christmas party fundraiser I held here at the house two years ago for Kids In Distress. The bartenders went through one bottle and had barely started on the second before I had to send some to the liquor store to grab a case of Sky and Stoli each. I gave out most of the Ultimat left over at other Xmas parties I went to and throughout the year for people (not friends) that had birthdays at work and such.
Hated that shit, although I did enjoy all the Patron she donated as well. That's good shit.

Vodka has no taste? You have no taste, if you don't taste vodka, because it has it's taste and aroma, and it is different in every brand you can name of. What you have to understand is the fact, that all of us has different palate. Some of us can name vodkas in blind tasting, and some of us can't taste difference between petrol and vodka. Most of us think that wine comes in two different types, red and white, but some of us can taste where the grapes has grown..Not me, but there is people like that out there.. ;D
What comes to best vodka experience of mine, it was Absolut Chili, made by myself. Receipt is quite easy, you take a bottle of Absolut Vodka, and one habanero- chili. You cut the habanero to shreds, remove the seeds, and put it in the vodka. Close the bottle and wait until fruit has given splendid colour to the vodka, which takes couple of months. This is for shots, not for sipping. It really isn't as hot you may think it is, but the taste is magnificent.
