Tina Fey really had her: She's nothimg more than a pageant queen
Quitting her job doesn't bother her because she never wanted the job in the first place. She just wanted to win the popularity contest.

She's quitting because now she's finally got what she wanted: National notoriety.

I like the corny response of "you must be scared of her"... blah blah blah that is used everytime someone laughs at her and points out the obvious.

It isn't that anyone is scared of the douche, it's that secretly her little band of supporters can't find anything else to triumph for her so they are only left with that fallback to soothe their own insecurities.

Obama's poll numbers are dropping and his entire agenda is so extreme that even members of his own party are saying no. Bashing Palin is easy for you clowns to do because it helps you avoid a realstic discussion of the mess Obama has already made by pursuing a nonsense agenda that everyone around the world, including many at home, are laughing at.

Other than a weekly train wreck and comedy material, Palin doesn't "own" anything else.

You like her. You think she has a future. You get "rallied" by her. I can understand the reason you feel hurt instead when she embarrasses herself in the national spotlight over and over again. Fortunately the rest of the nation doesn't feel the same and recognizes an idiot when they see one.
